Lando POV

There it was. A beautiful warm but not hot September day, sunny but not too sunny. Nothing special right?
WRONG. Today was the day I got to marry the love of my life and I was hella nervous.

"Mate come on we have to get going or we're gonna be late to YOUR wedding."
Max said, stomping into my bedroom.
"Max I can't do that. I'm gonna throw up or something I'm feeling so nauseous."
I mumbled from under the blanket.
"You're nervous but that's good. You're spending the rest of your life with one person, you have to be nervous. Come on now this is your day, it's gonna be the best of your life."

He pulled the blanket off the bed, forcing me to get out of bed.
"I don't even know where or what because I couldn't plan with Emily. Stupid Job. She had to do it all by herself."
I quickly got in the shower while max prepared my suit and everything he had to bring to the location.
"P told me she did a really good job so don't worry."

After that, everything happened so fast. I was in my suit on the way to the location and Max, the best friend he is, was prepared for everything because when we arrived, I've eaten, I got a chewing gum against bad breath and he even gave me a shot for encouragement.

"I appreciate it mate, thank you." I said as we got out of the limousine.
"Nah don't thank me for that. It's a pleasure being your best man today."
For some reason the moment felt so emotional and we shared a really tight hug before we went inside.

"These are your last moments as a bachelor mate, enjoy them."
Max nudged me in the side, laughing.
"Oh shut up. You're next. P has to catch the bouquet tonight and then you're doomed."
"I fear she's not that good at catching things."

It felt like I blinked and suddenly I stood at the altar, literally shaking. Our loved ones were all seated except for Carlos, Oliver and Max on my side and Lily, Hannah and Vivian on the other side where Emily is going to be any second.

Everyone was waiting for the bride to walk down the aisle with her dad to her side. My bride. My beautiful beautiful bride. Well I haven't seen her today but she's always pretty so whatever.

I was about to freak out and Max sensed it. I felt his hand on my shoulder but the next second here comes the bride started playing and the doors at the other end of the room opened.

The moment I saw her for the first time, tears started to well up in my eyes and soon ran down my face. She was so incredibly beautiful in that dress, with her hair up, that veil and the flowers that I knew were her favorite.
The whole nervousness was gone all of a sudden and I was never so sure with anything than right now.

This woman is the love of my life and the person I want to spend the rest of my life with.

I waited for her to arrive to me but my patience was running out because I couldn't wait for her to be my wife.
When they stood in front of me, she kissed her dad's cheek, he then gave me his hand and pulled me into a hug right after.
"Take good care of her."
"I will. I promise."
He smiled, nodded satisfied and sat down next to his wife.

Then finally we stepped up to the priest together.
"Hey."
I whispered as the priest started talking.
"Hey." She whispered back and we giggled quietly.
The whole time I had to hold back the urge to look or even kiss her right in the spot. Let me tell you that was the hardest part.

The priest talked and talked and talked until we finally got to our vows. Of course I had to start: "Emily,
Standing here with you today, I can't help but think about how life has a funny way of bringing us to exactly where we're meant to be. From the moment we first met, through all the unexpected twists and turns, I've realized that every step of the journey has led me to you, to this moment.
