Worried, you rushed to him and immediately checked on his expression.

You widened your eyes when you found his eyes dry yet looking as if he had cried for hours.

"Oh baby... It's alright. I'm right here..." you caressed his face and he immediately leaned in to your touch, trying to soothe himself from the aching feeling.

"Why were you crying, hon?" you ask, grabbing a chair nearby and sitting across him.

"I missed you." the man answers.

Holding in your laughter, you start choking at his words.

He immediately ran outside to get you a glass of water, coming back only a few seconds later.

You chugged the liquid down, wiping your tears away from laughing too hard.

Neuvilette showed no expression but with the way his next words came out made it seem as if he was pouting.

"Stop laughing... I missed you."

Unable to hold it again, you dropped to your knees, clutching your stomach as if it was going to explode due to how you were wheezing so hard.

After a few minutes, that felt like hours for the man, you finally stopped. You stood up and held onto his shoulder, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"I missed you too, baby. But try not to cause a flood for me next time." you told him.

And he was sorry.

Sorry that he couldn't keep that promise of his.

"How can I not miss you when even a minute without you can make my tears fall from the sky in less than a second."
