It was 10 PM when Saint and I went the lake. We decided that we should spend the rest of my time here together. At least I had the closure I wanted.

My consciousness kept drifting away throughout the day. Saint was there to hold me whenever I’d fall. We shared tears and kisses the rest of the time to at least make up for the times we can't take back.

Kumuha siya ng picnic blanket. We agreed to call it a date to somehow lessen the pain. He made all my favorite foods. I was leaning on him while he had his arms wrapped around my body. It's a few minutes until midnight.

“Alam mo? Kinukumbinsi ko na lang ang sarili ko na at least may closure tayo. At least I get to say a proper goodbye,” I told him.

“Me too. At least I get to spend one last time with you.”

“I’d like to think that this is the universe’s way to apologize for taking away the ones we love.”

“Iba ba ang pagmamahal mo sa Saint sa mundo mo at sa akin?”

I shook my head. “Kahit saang mundo, mahal kita. Kahit sa mga mundong hindi ko alam.”

He kissed my forehead. “In another universe, we are together. We don't have to cross the barriers of multiverses to coexist. And I know, in that universe, I love you the most.”

“I love you, Saint. I should've told you a long time ago.”

“I love you the most, Nyx.”

I can feel my consciousness drifting away. “Saint, I feel cold.”

“Close your eyes. I’ll take you home.” That means I won't see him once I wake up.

“What’s gonna happen to us?”

“I don’t know. I just hope we will remember these moments. I’ll keep them alive in my memories.”

Tumango ako. I shivered as I felt a strong force parting away from me. The last thing I saw was Saint hugging my unconscious body, kissing my hair as he cried. May pink na bracelet siyang sinuot sa akin bago siya tumayo. I watched him take my body to the lake, diving as a blinding light pulled me in.
