I didn't need to be told twice. My heart raced as I realized I had to make a run for it. I didn't even know where I was heading, but I knew I had to leave before I found myself in serious trouble. Somehow, I found myself at the edge of the pack territory, hoping that nobody had discovered the body yet. This would give me the chance to escape without being pursued.
Yet.

As I neared the border, a sense of urgency overcame me. Patrolling officers made it essential for me to find a quick and clever way to navigate this obstacle. I took cover behind a sturdy tree, biding my time and observing the officers' movements. Finally, the opportune moment arrived, and I felt as though the moon goddess had taken pity on me.

Suddenly, the ground trembled beneath me, and I heard a thunderous, pained roar that filled the air. Without a second thought, I sprinted away, propelled by a combination of fear and adrenaline. I didn't know where my escape would lead me, but I had to flee.

I desperately continued to run as fast as my exhausted body would allow. Every step reverberated through my malnourished and barefoot frame. Despite the pain, something deep within me propelled me forward. I couldn't be certain how much time had passed, but the exhaustion weighed heavily on me, urging me to find a place to rest. Finally, I decided to slow down and catch my breath. Needed to find shelter and something to eat walking around I tried to find something to eat but that came to a dead end on the positive side I found a cave where I could sleep and that was enough for me.

As I entered the dark cave, a wave of exhaustion engulfed me. I sought out a small patch of ground, curled up, and descended into slumber.

Abruptly, I awoke to the sharp pangs of hunger and the gnawing ache in my body. With great effort, I hoisted myself up, my limbs heavy with exhaustion. There, before me, stood a white rabbit. Reluctant as I was, desperation drove me to consider it. It felt as though the rabbit was beckoning me with a silent call. I slowly advanced towards it, extending my hand tentatively.

As wolves, we usually can transform into our wolf form. However, for some reason, I have been unable to do so, making me more of a social outcast. As I held the rabbit in my arms, I reached out my left hand towards its neck. A sense of guilt washed over me, but my overpowering feeling of hunger suppressed it.
I did it, snapped the neck of the rabbit, and watched as the life drained away from the rabbit I should have felt sad or even disgusted by my actions but I didn't, quite frankly dare I say I found it....trilling.

Watching the dead rabbit in my hand I took it and strapped off its head and limbs I felt an inner joy I shouldn't have felt and I started feeding on its raw flesh and the taste of blood should've disgusted me but it didn't I don't think I have ever enjoyed a meal so much.

What was happening to me?

After enjoying my meal I decided that it wasn't safe to stay in one place, if there was one thing I knew about the alpha he would hunt me down without backing down.

For days on end, I felt like a mindless zombie, devoid of emotion and direction. I trudged forward, oblivious to my destination. Amidst the haze, the sound of children's laughter and the murmur of human voices caught my attention. Approaching cautiously, I caught their scent and realized that they were not wolves.

As I emerged from the dense forest, I could sense the piercing gaze of unseen onlookers. A familiar sense of vulnerability washed over me once more. And in that moment, I found myself oddly embracing the sensation. darkness once again.
