1985 July 7th Hawkins,Indiana
Mike Wheeler was that kind of a person who doesn't really care about his appearance.
Well,today he took a extra long shower,styled his hair and picked out his clothes carefully.
Because today was different.
Him,Will and their friends Max and Lucas are going to watch a movie in Starcout as a double date.
It's been six months since Mike and Will started going out.
Nobody knew besides their friends,Will's family and Mike's older sister Nancy.Thankfully they were all supportive.
Mike thought about telling his parents about him and his relationship with the other boy a lot,but changed his mind whenever he heard his father's homophopic comments and his mother's silence."Maybe it's better if they don't find out"he wondered.
It was 4:37pm and he had to be there by five.
When he made sure that he looked fine enough he rushed down the stairs,almost falling.Usually his mom would tell him to slow down but she wasn't home.She never was.She was always with her friends.She spends so much time with them.Too much time.
He entered the kitchen to grab the snack they'd buy if they'd pay.It's useful when the older friend of yours,who dated your sister and who decided that he'll gonna be a "mom" for you and your friend group ,works at the mall and lets you and your friends sneak into movies.
He opened the cupboard and grabbed some candys (making sure he had Reese's Pices) and shoved them into his backpack.
He closed the cabinet.He turned around to be meet with Nancy who had a sly grin on her lips.
"You look nice"Nancy teased as she took a bite out of her apple.She was sitting on the counter looking at her younger brother.
Mike just glared at her and rolled his eyes.She let out a soft laugh.
"Can't I just look nice when I'm going out with my boyfriend?"he asked annoyed.Nancy's smile widened.These were those moment when they felt like they are normal kids.Just teasing eachother.
Mike glanced at the clock on the wall.His eyes widened.
"Shit,I'm late bye Nancy"he said his goodbye and rushed out of the door noticing his father's car which pulled up on their driveway.He came home from work. Mike picked up his bike and made his way to the mall.

Will,Lucas and Max were standing in the entrance of the mall.Mike was late again.
"If this dipshit doesn't show up in the next five seconds I swear"Max started angrily,but she couldn't finish because the "dipshit" put his bike on the bike-rack and joined them.
"You're late again!"Lucas stated.
"I know let's just get in"Mike responded.He looked at Will and smiled.A genuine smile.
He stepped closer to him and put his arm around his shoulder.
"Hey"he said.
"Hi"said Will.
Max rolled her eyes.
"Can we go in lovebirds?"she asked sarcastically.
"Yeah sure"Will replied,frustrated.
Max took Lucas's hand and she started running to the ice-cream shop dragging Lucas with her.
Will looked at them and smiled.
"Come on Micheal we gonna miss the movie"he said as he took Mike hand's in his.Even though they were dating more then six months,the butterflies didn't left their stomachs when they were together.Mike nodded and pressed a small kiss on Will's cheek.Will instantly turned red.Mike just smiled at him and lead him to Scoops Ahoy.

"Wait,the mother wanted to?"Lucas asked as the four walked out of the cinema.
"Yes"Max replied before her boyfriend could've finish.She pecked the boy's lips,then smiled at him as she intertwined their fingers.A big smile on Lucas' lips.
The cute moment ended when Mike gagged.
"And you say that we're gross"Mike joked.
Max glared at the boy.Annoyance in her eyes and face.She smacked Mike's shoulder.Mike just laughed.
"What are you five?"she asked.
"Okay,let's get ice-cream." Will advised.Everybody agreed.

"Hey Steve and Robin"Max greeted as they entered the store.
The two teenagers looked up.Robin smiled mostly because Mike and Will (they didn't tell her that they're dating, but it's easy to a lesbian to sense the gays).
"Hey kiddos."she said happily.
Steve just sighed.
"What do you want now?"he asked.
"Hey be nice to the customers"said Mike.
Steve rolled his eyes,but smiled a little.
"We just want some ice-cream,chill"told Lucas.
"Fine.What can we get for ya?"Robin asked as she picked up her spoon.The kids give their orders,payed and left.
Max got strawberry,Lucas got salted -caramel,Will got chocolate with rainbow sprinkles and Mike got bubblegum ice-cream.
"How can you even eat that crap,Mike?"Will questioned.Will hated the taste of bubblegum ice-cream.He always thought that it was disgusting.(me too)
"Easily!Chocolate is basic I'm sorry cutie"he responded.
"You forgot about the sprinkles"Will reminded him playfully.
"With or without sprinkles it's boring"Mike said.He put his arm around Will' s shoulder once again as they got to the entrance of the mall.
"Are you guys seriously arguing about ice-cream?"Lucas asked.
"Uhm,Will there's ice-cream on your nose"Max said as she spointed at his nose.She pulled a pack of tissues out of her pocket,that was unnecessary though.Mike already made a move.
"Lemme get it for you"he said.He looked around and when he made sure nobody was watching them,he removed the ice-cream from Will's nose with his lips.When he pulled away he grinned at Will.Will's cheeks were tinted red.
This moment was interrupted by max coughing.
"And you say we're gross"she mocked.Lucas and Will chuckled.Mike rolled his eyes.
The bus barked in front of the mall.
"Shit I have to go.See you tomorrow stalker!"she said as she runned towards the bus.
The three boys picked up their bike and went to separate ways,since Mike went to Will's house to hang out for a bit before dinner.
They said their goodbyes to Lucas and cycled to Will's.

"We're home."Will exclaimed as he entered the house.
"Hi guys!"El greeted them.El and Hopper moved in with them since Joyce and Hopper were dating.
"Hey El!Is anybody else home?"he asked his step-sister.
"Just Hop"she said.
Will turned his gaze to Mike,who had this "well shit"face on.Hopper wasn't a big fan of him.
"Hey boys!"Hopper said as he entered the living room.He sat next to El who was watching tv.
"Hey Hop!"Will greeted his step-dad.
"Hi!"Mike did the same.
Will took Mike's hand in his.
"Well,we'll be in my room bye"
He said as he made his way to his room,Mike following behind.
"Three inches!"Hopper yelled to the boys who disappeared in the hallway.

{45 minutes later}
The boys were sitting on Will's bed reading comics.Will's head was on Mike's chest and Mike played with Will's hair.The door opened three inches.
They heard a knock on the door.They looked up and they saw Hopper.
"Mike your mom called,she told me that you have to go home now"Hopper said in a serious tone.Mike frowned.
"Uhm,is everything okay?"he asked.He had the bad gut-wrenching feeling in his stomach.
"To be honest I don't think so"Hopper confessed."Do you want me to take you home?"he asked.
"No,thanks.See you later Will."he stood up picked up his backpack and pressed a kiss on Will forehead.
"See you Mike"Will said.

Mike picked up his bike from the ground as he began his way to his house anxiously.
