Tony was flying toward the city, his suit was losing power. He continues to make his way to Stark Tower. At Stark Tower, Selvig was ready to activate the device he created with the Tesseract. As Tony slowly reaches.
"Sir, I turned off the arc reactor. The device is already self-sustaining" Jarvis informed Tony.
"Shut it down, Dr. Selvig." Tony told Selvig.
"It's too late! She can't stop now. She wants to show us something! A new universe."
"Welp, he's gone bananas."
"That's rude!"
"Okay." Tony fires at the barrier around the device, but the Tesseract deflects it, sending the energy outwards, knocking Selvig out and Tony back.
The witches and wizards eyes widened at seeing a Protego like that.
"The barrier is pure energy. It's unbreachable." Jarvis said.
"Yeah, I got that."
Tony looks down to see Loki on the platform outside the penthouse.
"Sir, the Mark Seven is not ready for deployment."
"Then skip the spinning rims, we're on the clock."
Tony lands and as his suit is deconstructed,he walks through into the tower penthouse, watching Loki carefully. Loki walks in as well.
"Why are you taking your armor off?" Tonks asked.
"My suit was damage by the Helicarrier turbine so I had to switch and at the same time..." Tony smirked.
Inside the tower, Loki walks forward as Tony goes behind his bar.
"Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity." Loki said.
"Uh- actually, I'm planning to threaten you."
"You should have left your armor on for that."
" Yeah, it's seen a bit of mileage. You've got the uh- blue stick of destiny. Would you like a drink?" Tony asked.
Many snorted at the blue stick of destiny.
"Stalling me won't change anything."
"No, no, no- threatening. No drink? You sure? I'm having one."
"I could use one at the moment." Sirius muttered.
"The Chitauri are coming, nothing will change that. What have I to fear?" Loki asked.
"The Avengers. It's what we call ourselves, sort of like a team. 'Earth's Mightiest Heroes' type of thing."
"Yes, I'm met them."
"Yeah, takes us a while to get any traction, I'll give you that one. But, let's do a head count here. Your brother, the Demi-God;" Tony said as Loki turns away and he slips a pair of bracelets onto his wrists. "A super soldier, a living legend who kind of lives up to the legend; a man with breath-taking anger management issues; a couple of master assassins, a knight and you, big fella, you've managed to piss off every single one of them."
"That's right! You are in big trouble now!" Pietro laughed.
"That was the plan." Loki said.
Tony begins to walk to the center of the penthouse where Loki is.
"Not a great plan. When they come, and they will, they'll come for you."
"I have an army."
