Back at S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters, Steve walks into Fury's office.

"You just can't stop yourself from lying, can you?" Steve said.

"I didn't lie. Agent Romanoff had a different mission than yours."

"I'm a spy Steve, do you really think I wouldn't have a different mission along side yours." Natasha said to Steve.

"Which you didn't feel obliged to share."

"I'm not obliged to do anything."

"Those hostages could've died, Nick."

"I sent the greatest soldier in history to make sure that didn't happen."

"Soldiers trust each other, that's what makes it an army. Not a bunch of guys running around and shooting guns." Steve said.

"The last time I trusted someone, I lost an eye." Fury said with a chuckle. "Look, I didn't want you doing anything you weren't comfortable with. Agent Romanoff is comfortable with everything."

"I always wondered how did he lost it." Tony said.

Diana shifted in her sit. "Hum... I do know how he lost it...." She admit.

The Avengers all quickly turned toward her in shocked.

"What!?"

"HOW! TELL ME!" Tony desperately yelled.

Diana shrugged."Sorry, but I promised him that I won't tell anyone."

They all groaned, as Tony threw his hand in the air.

"Oh come on!"

"I can't lead a mission when the people I'm leading have missions of their owns." Steve said.

"He got a point." Moody grunt.

"It's called compartmentalization. Nobody spills the secrets because nobody knows them all."

"Except you."

"You're wrong about me. I do share. I'm nice like that." Fury said, as he steps into an elevator with Steve following behind him "Insight bay."

"Captain Rogers does not have clearance for Project Insight."

"What's Project Insight?" Tonks asked.

"Oh boy."

"Director override, Fury, Nicholas J."

"Confirmed."

the elevator starts moving down

"You know, they used to play music."

"Yeah. My grandfather operated one of these things for forty years. My granddad worked in a nice building, he got good tips." Fury said. "He'd walk home every night, roll of ones stuffed in his lunch bag. He'd say "hi", people would say hi back. Time went on, neighborhood got rougher. He'd say "Hi", they'd say, "Keep on steppin'. Granddad got to grippin' that lunch bag a little tighter."

"Did he ever get mugged?" Steve asked.

"Every week some punk would say, "What's in the bag?"

"What did he do?"

"He'd show 'em. Bunch of crumpled ones and loaded .22 Magnum."

Some muggleborn and halfblood snicker while the pureblood are confused.

Fury smiles. "Granddad loved people. But he didn't trust them very much."

They continue to ride down the elevator Steve notices the giant Helicarriers
