It was a cool autumn afternoon at U.A. University, and you had decided that today was the day you would confess your feelings to Katsuki Bakugou. You had admired him for so long, drawn to his fierce determination and raw power, even if his temper could be intimidating. You took a deep breath, steeling yourself as you approached him during a break between classes.
"Bakugou," you called out, your voice wavering slightly. He turned to face you, his usual scowl in place.
"What do you want?" he snapped, but there was a hint of curiosity in his eyes.
"I... I like you, Bakugou. I've liked you for a long time," you confessed, your heart pounding in your chest. "Will you go out with me?"
For a moment, there was silence. Then Bakugou's eyes narrowed, and he laughed-a harsh, mocking sound that cut through you like a knife.
"Are you serious?" he scoffed. "You think someone like me would be interested in someone like you? Get real."
Tears stung your eyes as his words sank in. You felt like your heart had been shattered into a million pieces. Without another word, you turned and fled, not wanting him to see you cry.
The days that followed were some of the hardest you'd ever faced. Every time you saw Bakugou, the memory of his rejection played over and over in your mind. But you were determined not to let it break you. Slowly, you began to pick up the pieces and move on.
In the process, you met another student, a charming and kind-hearted guy named Hiroshi. He was in your class, and you found solace in his company. Hiroshi had a way of making you smile, even on your worst days. You started spending more time together, and soon, you found yourself looking forward to seeing him.
Meanwhile, Bakugou had noticed your growing closeness with Hiroshi. At first, he dismissed it as nothing, but as days turned into weeks, he couldn't ignore the pang of jealousy that gnawed at him. He would watch from a distance as you laughed and talked with Hiroshi, his fists clenching in frustration. His pride kept him from saying anything, but inside, he was seething.
One afternoon, you and Hiroshi were sitting under a tree on the university grounds. The sun was setting, casting a warm golden glow over everything. Hiroshi turned to you, his eyes soft and tender.
"I really like you, you know," he said quietly. "I'd like to kiss you, if that's okay."
You felt your heart skip a beat. Just as you were about to respond, a blur of movement caught your eye. Before you could process what was happening, Bakugou was there, grabbing you by the arm and pulling you away from Hiroshi.
"Hey! What the-" Hiroshi started, but Bakugou cut him off with a glare that could have melted steel.
"She's coming with me," Bakugou growled, dragging you away. You stumbled after him, too shocked to protest. He didn't stop until you were far from Hiroshi, in a secluded part of the campus.
"Bakugou, what are you doing?" you demanded, finally finding your voice.
He didn't answer right away. Instead, he stared at you, his eyes burning with a mixture of anger and something else-something you couldn't quite place. Then, without warning, he pulled you close and kissed you. It was fierce and passionate, and it took your breath away.
When he finally pulled back, you were both panting, your hearts racing.
"Why did you do that?" you asked, your voice barely above a whisper.
"Because I'm an idiot," he muttered, looking away. "I was too stupid to realize how much I care about you until I saw you with that other guy. And I hate it. I hate seeing you with someone else."
You stared at him, your heart swelling with a mix of emotions. "But you rejected me," you said, your voice trembling. "You hurt me, Bakugou."
"I know," he said, his voice raw. "And I'm sorry. I'm not good at this stuff. But I can't stand the thought of you being with anyone else. I want to be with you."
Tears filled your eyes again, but this time, they were tears of joy. "I want to be with you too," you whispered.
Bakugou pulled you into another kiss, this one softer, more tender. When you finally broke apart, you leaned your forehead against his, smiling.
"So, does this mean we're together now?" you asked, a teasing glint in your eyes.
"Yeah, it does," he replied, his voice rough but filled with affection. "And I'm not letting you go. Ever."
From that day forward, things changed. Bakugou still had his rough edges, but he was different with you-softer, more caring. Hiroshi, though disappointed, understood and stepped back, wishing you both well. You and Bakugou faced challenges together, but your bond only grew stronger. And in the end, you were happy, knowing that despite the rocky start, you had found your way to each other's hearts.
