The first few days at U.A. had been a whirlwind of new faces, intense training, and the overwhelming excitement of finally being on the path to becoming a pro hero. Your quirk, a powerful ability to make anything float without touching it, had already earned you a fair amount of attention. Unlike Uraraka, who needed physical contact to activate her quirk, you could make objects levitate with just a glance, a flick of your fingers, or a subtle wave of your hand. This added level of control and power set you apart from the others, and you quickly became known as someone to watch out for.

You fit in well with the class, forming bonds with people like Uraraka, who was naturally drawn to you due to your similar quirks. Midoriya often sought you out for advice on control and technique, fascinated by your ability to handle such a powerful quirk with ease. Even Iida, with his strict adherence to rules, admired your discipline and precision in using your abilities. You had quickly established yourself among your classmates, calling everyone by their first names, a sign of camaraderie and friendship. But there was one exception—Katsuki Bakugo. You always addressed him by his last name, and he actually never mentioned it.

Bakugo was different. He was loud, abrasive, and had a temper that seemed to ignite at the slightest provocation. Though you admired his strength and determination, there was something about him that made you keep your distance. He was a force of nature, all raw power and unbridled ambition, and you couldn't shake the feeling that getting too close to him would be like playing with fire. So, you kept your interactions with him to a minimum, addressing him by his last name as a way to maintain a certain level of formality and distance.

Despite your efforts to avoid him, Bakugo seemed to notice everything. He noticed how you called everyone else by their first names, how you spoke to him only when absolutely necessary, and how you seemed to go out of your way to steer clear of him. But he never said a word about it. Instead, he watched you with a mix of curiosity and something else—something you couldn't quite put your finger on.

As the days turned into weeks, your classmates began to grow closer. The move to the dorms brought everyone even nearer, and friendships that had been forming in the classroom began to solidify. You often found yourself hanging out with the girls—Uraraka, Yaoyorozu, and Jirou—sharing stories and laughs in the common room. They were easy to talk to, and you appreciated the break from the constant intensity of hero training.

One evening, as you and the girls were lounging on the couches, Kaminari and Kirishima joined in, eager to share the latest gossip. "Did you hear? There's going to be a big training exercise tomorrow—some kind of mock villain attack," Kaminari said, his eyes gleaming with excitement.

"I heard about that!" Kirishima added, his enthusiasm contagious. "It's supposed to be super intense. They're bringing in some upperclassmen to play the villains."

You exchanged a look with Uraraka, who seemed equally excited and nervous. "Sounds like it's going to be tough," you said, trying to keep your voice light.

"Yeah, but it's a great opportunity to show what we can do," Jirou chimed in, always practical and focused.

"Exactly! It's a chance to really shine," Yaoyorozu agreed, her confidence evident.

As the conversation continued, you couldn't help but notice Bakugo sitting alone on the other side of the room, his gaze fixed on you. He had been quieter than usual lately, and you wondered if he was still brooding over something—or someone.

The next day, the entire class gathered at Ground Beta, where the training exercise was set to take place. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation, everyone eager to prove themselves. As Aizawa-sensei briefed the class on the scenario, you couldn't help but feel a thrill of excitement. This was what you had trained for.
