The hallway echoed with the sound of your footsteps as you hurried away, tears blurring your vision. The argument with Bakugou had been fierce, his words cutting deeper than any wound. His anger had unleashed a torrent of cruel accusations, and now, the weight of his words crushed you.
You found solace in an empty classroom, sinking to the floor as sobs wracked your body. The pain of his words was overwhelming, and you felt a deep sadness envelop you. Minutes passed, maybe hours, you couldn't tell. The world outside your pain seemed distant and unimportant.A sudden knock on the door startled you, and you looked up to see Bakugou standing there, his face contorted with regret. He stepped inside, closing the door behind him.
"Leave me alone, Bakugou," you said, your voice trembling.
"I need to talk to you," he replied, his tone softer than you'd ever heard it.
"Just go away," you insisted, turning your face away.
He took a few steps closer, his presence filling the room. "I said some really stupid things," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'm sorry."
You shook your head, refusing to meet his gaze. "I don't want to hear it."
He sighed, running a hand through his hair in frustration. "Look, I know I messed up. I know I hurt you. But I just... I just want to make it right."
"How can you make it right?" you snapped, the pain in your voice evident.
He knelt down beside you, his eyes searching yours. "Let me kiss you," he said suddenly. "What?" you asked, bewildered.
"Let me kiss you, and if you still want me to leave after that, I will," he said, his voice firm. You hesitated, your heart pounding. It sounded ridiculous, but the desperation in his eyes made you pause. "No, Bakugou, that's not going to fix anything."
He leaned in closer, his breath warm on your skin. "Please," he whispered. "Just one kiss. If it means you'll forgive me, then please."
You wanted to refuse, to push him away, but something in his voice made you relent. "Fine," you said reluctantly. "One kiss. Then you leave."
Without another word, he closed the distance between you, his lips capturing yours in a searing kiss. It was more than just an apology; it was a confession, a plea, a promise. The kiss was passionate, magnetic, drawing you in until you were lost in the sensation.
His hands cupped your face, and you felt yourself melting into him. Every ounce of anger and hurt seemed to dissolve as his lips moved against yours. When he finally pulled away, you were breathless, your heart racing.
"Do you still want me to leave?" he asked, his voice hoarse with emotion.
You looked into his eyes, unable to find the words. Instead, you pulled him back into another deep kiss, your answer clear in your actions. He kissed you back, his relief palpable.
When you finally broke apart, he rested his forehead against yours. "I'm so sorry," he murmured. "I never want to hurt you again."
You smiled, the warmth of his kiss still lingering. "I forgive you," you said softly. And in that moment, you knew that despite the pain, his love was worth it.
