The disturbing noise of the disco didn't bother her as much as the gang of friends in front of her boosted their luxurious lifestyle. As the time is close to change the date, the party crew inflated with more richie riches joining it.

"One more shot." She ordered the bartender.

The skinny man, acknowledged her slurry words and began to make her order. As the time ticked, the countdown began.

Three...

Two...

One...

"Happy Birthday Dude," The gang yelled lifting him, the birthday boy, up into the air.

Amidst the noise, his eyes fell on her. She was quiet and her empty eyes tore away the from him and collected the glass. Ignoring the birthday wishes, he began to walk towards the attraction.

"Teja," He forwarded his hand at her.

The girl ignored his scream, and got up to leave. Teja, the man, followed her like a tail but she didn't acknowledge him. As they both reached the dead end, he flustered looking in front of him.

"Now, you will follow me to the inside as well?" Pointing towards the washroom door, she asked. Teja was quick to motion his head from left to right.

"Manchidi!"

After doing her business, the girl came out and found the birthday boy still waiting for her. "What do you want, Mr. Teja?"

"Today is my birthday." He said. The glint in eyes was reflecting the delightful event yet it didn't reach her, not even the lips.

"Oh," She realised. "Happy Birthday and Good Bye." She replied and left the venue before he could follow her twice.

"Mama, ikkada em chesthunnav?" Vamsi, his friend, tapped on his shoulder.

(Bro, what are you doing here?)

Teja was too occupied in his thoughts to give any reply to Vamsi. "Mama," Vamsi yelled in his ears.

"Nii.. arusthunnam em ra?"

(Why are you screaming man?)

"Nuvvu dishti bomma la ninchuni unte evadaina arusthadu mari!" Vamsi retorted.

(If you stand still like this, anyone would scream.)

"Miss ayipoindi ra!" His left hand on the left side of his chest, Teja leaned against Vamsi. His gaze fixed on the exit, Vamsi shook his head in denial. Teja, and falling for a girl? It's a dream.

(I missed her man!)

"Ok, fine. Everyone is waiting for you."

Teja went along with Vamsi.
