A small question!
Which pet lover are you?
Dog lover or Cat lover?
Other pets are also welcomed,
cause you will see another one now!The glass fell down from her hand, Amani passed an apologetic smile and bent down to collect the fragments of the shredded glass. Bhargav beat it to her, "Amma, you go and sleep."
"But-"
A stern gaze from Bhargav, and she felt it. "Anagha, bye." Amani grumbled at her son and left only after returning his stern look, a quiet and silent response that he got it from her, his mother!
Bhargav sighed and collected the shredded glass pieces. After dumping them, he glanced at his wife who was quite looking as if she needed any motivation. Of course, motivation is needed, he knew that.
"Anu, it's okay if you're not comfortable." His hand drew out to hold hers. Gently squeezing it, "Don't be tensed."
Anagha motioned her head top to bottom. He let out a chuckle at her antics, and bestowed her to their room. The dark room with complementary walls ushered them.
The lights switched on, and she sat on the bed. Motioning him to sit beside her, she felt it, the warmth of his presence and the feeling of being cared and encouraged.
Reliving that day would cost her all the past? The stupidity and the shit as well. She met for the first time and he became her husband as well, but at what cost?
"Ummm, that began with the wedding of Madhu Akka." She trailed off, remembering the bittersweet moments of the good old past.
It was the engagement of Madhu, the cousin of Anagha and Teja. And the telugu household would invite every single relative when it is a big fat wedding.
Anagha was running here and there, directing the helpers to take care of the guests with the help of her mother Indira, who is the aunt of the bride. A few hours kicked in, Anagha was out of the energy to do anything so she sat down in the last row massaging her temple.
"Juice?"
She looked up at the person who managed to charm every single lady -including her- Bhargav, the cousin of Teja. Heat rushed to her cheeks as she picked up a glass of grape juice with a wide grin.
"I guess you are tired of helping your mother?" The sarcasm was evident in his face as he leaned on the chair beside her. She looked around for her aunt, and her disappearance made her grin.
Kanika wasn't fond of Anagha, as both of them had different principles and practices regarding life and family. Often, the relatives would just tell Prabhu to tie Anagha with Teja, his sisters' son. And Kanika loathed it! She wanted someone who would be a puppet in her hands and definitely not a rebel like Anagha.
