"Bhargav will marry Anagha."
The room become silent. The mother and son exchanged unsaid words while the family was too numb to reply anything.
The muffled whispers supported the decision of Pratap, a pathetic society, created by the humans.
"Nanna," Bhargav spoke with bitterness. Did his father believe him? Does his father have enough trust in him?
"Shut up, Bhargav." Pratap yelled. The light flickered, a sign that nothing lasts forever, be it good or bad. The evil duo -Kaamini and Teja- were looking at each other as Pratap twisted and turned the tables.
Amidst the erred chaos, Anagha was still unconscious and unaware of the conflict that will rise soon. Indira didn't stop her attempts to wake up her daughter, and the flickering eyelids was the success of her hardwork. "Prabhu, Anagha is conscious." Indira whispered as Anagha blinked her eyes to adjust with the light.
"Anagha," Prabhu reached his daughter, "Anagha, are you fine?" The worry of the father compressed the seriousness of the situation giving enough time to Kaamini to weave another plan. Bhargav also attempted to reach Anagha but a glance from Prabhu, he stood still.
"Nanna, what happened? What's all this?" Anagha questioned as both the families were in the reach of her sight accompanied by a thick irresistible tension in the air.
"Before we tell you what happened," Kaamini began her interrogation, "Tell us who was the last person you're with?"
Anagha looked around, searching for him. However, she was unaware of the allegations and insults thrown by everyone at both of them. The wicked people always used the kind and naive to play the good human game. She lifted her hand and pointed towards the person dwelling in the corner of the room, due to the inconvenience of her vocals.
Kaamini let out a fake gasp, "I told you Annayya, this family planned to ruin us." Adding fuel to the fire, Kaamini signed Teja to continue with the rest.
The extended family and friends began their part -gossiping- whereas Anagha was still kept in the dark. Prabhu and Indrani were crying at the fate of their daughter, and the wicked woman in red was delighted seeing this.
None of the families saw the glint and shine in her eyes being indulged in the situation. Pratap once again proposed his decision to the other couple. Kaamini was weighing the alternatives to decide and device what would help her in ruining her family more.
"Annayya,"
Prabhu gazed at his sister. In a single night his whole happiness is destroyed. Indeed happiness is poisonous, the more you have it, the more you suffer.
Kaamini pulled him with her to another corner of the room. Indrani was left with her daughter in the middle of the wolves. Pratap, Amani were crying for their son, Bhargav Ram. And the others? Just getting entertainment with the scenes unfolding in front of them.
