Softly tapping my finger against the table as i hummed along to the beat playing through my earphones, i guess it is save to say that i was in my own world. I was in the library trying my very best to understand this math equations i need to know for an exam later this week. But it was as if i was reading in russian instead.

I don't understand Russian.

But the way things are going, I'm starting to think that I'd have better luck learning the language than I do in understanding these mathematical formula. I groaned at the thought.

Choosing to concentrate on the music playing through my earphones as I absentmindedly flipped through countless pages in my textbook, I didn't realize when someone took the seat opposite mine until i started to sense that someone was staring right at me.

And of course, i was right. There is someone staring at me.

Aeri look like a deer caught in headlight when I looked up to meet her eye, before she shook her head and grinned at me in that very cheeky way that is just undeniably, undoubtedly Aeri. I only rolled my eyes at her, but deep down inside I just wanted to squish her cheeks together and call her adorable.

She only pouted at me in response.

"What ya dooooning." Aeri sing-songed while trying to reach over to touch my stuff. I swatted her hand away, earning another pout from her.

See what I mean? Adorable.

"I'm studying." I said to her as I tried to put my focus back on the textbook. It's starting to look more and more alien to me the longer i look at it.

"You don't look like you're studying." She grinned at me, i only groaned at her before she left out a light chuckle, almost caught of guard by the way my own heart started to drum against my chest when she left out the sound.

"How did you even find me here?" I asked her, trying to change the topic but also my miserable attempt at trying to calm down my heart. It didn't help when she grinned at me even wider, completely sending my heart into overdrive.

Aeri just shrugged before saying "I put a tracking device on you."

I widened my eye. You see, Aeri putting a tracking device on me wouldn't be uncharacteristic. It's something I could truly believe she would do. And had it not been her own laugher betraying, I would have believe her.

"Your face", Aeri started to say between her hysterics
"Oh my god, you should have seen your face"

I was about to make a move to throw my book across the table, but when the Liberian stood beside Aeri with such piercings eyes, I saw her cower in fear, making me laugh out loud in return.

In the end, we were both asked to leave, I gathered my things, still holding my laughter, While Aeri was trying to tug my arm to get out of there faster.

"Ningie, come on. That woman is scary" she said pulling on my arm.

It didn't even take Aeri a split second after seeing me zip my bag up to drag me out of the library. And I thought we were just running to get through the door quicker, but now we were running through the hallway, her hand still holding mine

And the everything turned in slow motion.

Do you know that very cliché way lovers running are portrayed in movies? The way their hair bounce against their shoulders perfectly, the way their hand is tightly grasping yours, the way everything blurs, and the way they turn to look at you and you start to lose your breath?

I have never been a believer of such cliché even if I love romantic movies.

But here I am, Aeri and i running through the empty hallway as she holds on to my hand. Her brown locks are bouncing against her shoulders and when she look at me, I could see pure ecstasy in them. Her eyes were reflecting universe in them and her smile was contagious. I feel like I could run forever
