Annabelle hadn't talked to her father since he had tried to take her away and lock her up. She wasn't going to talk to him either. Maddie had tried to get her to talk to him.
Annabelle refused. Knowing she couldn't. She felt as though she had finally got her dad. And he had tried to lock her away. She felt hurt.
The door opened and Maddie walked in. "Hey. Your father has tried calling you. You left your phone downstairs last night."
"I don't have a father. He can't do what he tried to and then expect me to be daddy's little girl. He can rot in hell for all I care," Annabelle mumbled.
Maddie sighed. She knew how hurt Annabelle had been and while she didn't blame her daughter, she didn't want to get the grief from Patrick about it.
"Maybe talk to him. See what he has to say?"
Annabelle turned to her mum. "Are you joking me? The man tried to lock me away so I don't embarrass him. I don't ever want to talk to him again," she told her mum.
Maddie pulled her close and held her as she sobbed. She knew all too well how hard this was for her daughter. And she wanted nothing more than to fix it all for her.
Annabelle sighed. "My appointment is next week. To terminate. I have to do this right? I'm a dancer. And dancers don't get pregnant at ridiculous ages. Tell me what to do."
Maddie wiped away her daughter's tears. She smiled. "I can't tell you what to do Angel. Only you can make this choice. But I'm here for you all the way. Whatever you want to do," she told her.
Annabelle nodded. "I'm definitely not keeping it. I don't want to fuck my life up."
"You wouldn't. But I will be with you every step of the way. You're my little girl Annabelle. And whatever you want to do, I'll be there."
Annabelle smiled and nodded. "Thanks. But I don't want to see or speak to my dad. Not anymore."
"If that's what you want darling, then I'm not going to pressure you at all," Maddie told her.

Maddie was in price slice. She looked up as Patrick walked in. "Annabelle isn't picking up the phone. Why?" He asked.
"Let me guess. You tried to lock her away! She's a child Patrick. And more than that, she made a mistake. But that doesn't allow you to try and lock her up. Making out I didn't want her anymore? That I agreed? She doesn't want to speak to you Patrick."
Patrick sighed. "She is my daughter."
"And you ruined things with what you did. Do you know she cried herself to sleep thinking about what she would have done if you had locked her away. I think for now, you leave her alone to calm down. She needs some space," Maddie told him.
Maddie knew all too well she wasn't going to pressure Annabelle into talking to her father if she didn't want to. Knowing it wouldn't end well for her.
Patrick looked to her. "I want Annabelle to come for dinner tonight. To explain things."
Maddie shook her head. "She isn't going to do that Patrick. She has told me this herself. For the time being, leave her alone. She doesn't want you in her life. And I'm not going to force her either."

Annabelle was sitting on the sofa watching tv. Maddie walked in and smiled. "Hey you. Your dad decided to accost me in price slice. He told me he wants you to go for dinner. I told him you won't want that."
"Then he should respect my choice. I don't want him in my life. It's bad enough I'm a student at his school. I wish we had never moved here," Annabelle said.
Maddie sat down with her daughter and smiled. "I know it hasn't been easy for you. But you always have me. I promise."
"Thanks. I'm gonna go and get a burger. I'll be back soon," Annabelle said as she stood and walked off.
****
Hours had passed since Maddie had seen or heard from Annabelle. She grabbed her jacket and left the house. She immediately ran to Patrick's. "Madeline?"
"Is she here? Annabelle. She went out for a burger ages ago and she hasn't come home since. Have you seen her?" Maddie asked.
Patrick shook his head. "No. I was giving her some space."
"Where is she then? She isn't answering her phone either. Patrick, I'm scared," Maddie mumbled.
"We will find her."
****
Annabelle woke up in a strange place. She tried to stand up but realised she was tied up. She looked around and saw Sienna walking in. "S-Sienna? What's going on?" She asked.
"I knew you were my Sophie. You've always been my Sophie. And now you're having a baby."
"I'm not Sophie. I'm Annabelle. Sienna, you have to let me go."
Sienna shook her head and smiled. "We'll be okay here. I promise," she said as she turned and left the room. Locking Annabelle in.
But the question was, would anyone find Annabelle?
