Rui signed in frustration as he looked over the information on his desk.

" This isn't good... All of this information yet I still feel as though I'm missing something... " Rui thought as he looked over his work again.

At the moment the Emperor has been pushing extra work onto Rui as war is threatening to poke its head around the corner. Apparently someone said something that shouldn't have and now everyone has been on high alert which left Rui looking for something he can pull out when needed, after all it seems like everyone is about to go to war with each other.

Rui sighed deeply, peace can only last so long yet he'd prefer it to last a little longer.

So what exactly was said? Apparently their Emperor and another one had been a little on edge recently and that one had to blurt out one of the Emperor's many complaints about the one and only divine dragon in front of said divine dragon.

Now not only are they worried about a war they also had to appease the divine dragon which was where Rui came in. Rui was naturally a smooth talker and so the Emperor was sending him to address their apology and get the divine dragon on their side because of the high tensions.

After all, having the favor of him was basically the equivalent of invincibility to any war. However due to the dragon seeming very displeased with them things weren't looking too good.

Rui sighed and looked through a few papers he was supplied by his informants and that's when something caught his eye.

" The heart of the mortal who trapped the divine dragon in the mortal realm..? Ah! And even a dagger that could actually kill him... My, my~ seems as though things are going in my favor today..." Rui smirked and stood up.

With the information he has at the moment he can request the Emperor for a majority of their informants so Rui can go up by himself as soon as possible to appease the dragon's anger.

He'll just have to hope what he's been given is right and if not... Then maybe he'll have to smooth talk his way out of another one of his Emperor's problems.

Sigh, hopefully this will all pay off and Rui can watch everything slowly settle down and return to a much more calm and peaceful atmosphere.

Rui's never felt more stressed in his life, not only did the Emperor not tell him of the time limit he had but he hasn't had any news regarding this heart and dagger that he sent them out for.

Still he had other plans such as offering to build a shrine dedicated to the dragon and of course his absolute favorite, smooth talking. He's sure he could sway a dragon the same way he has Emperors. Not that he's ever slept with any of them, unfortunately for them Rui wasn't that interested.

Yet flirting with a dragon to spare his empire probably wasn't the best move in the book.

Rui was about to head to the Emperor's chambers when one of his informants came stumbling in. "K-kamishiro sir-! I believe we found what you're looking for!"
