Long ago human-animal hybrids were hunted on the spot, if one was found they were killed immediately. After many years of background work of killing off as many as possible they'd start being captured and tested on.

But that was a long time ago, nowadays if you're not being tested on you would be sold off to wealthy people who don't know what to do with their money. Biddings went high since it was like every twice a year one would be sold off.

Rui was the only one being sold off this year. He considers himself lucky after being called "pretty enough" to avoid getting sold to scientists and instead to horny humans. And they say animals breed with whatever they see. At least they have standards...

Rui was a cat hybrid, one that would probably make anyone with a cat allergy sneeze until they pass out. His tail was practically their worst nightmare with how fluffy it is. Now of course Rui keeps it well groomed and all but despite the pretty tail some were still considering chopping it off entirely.

Now Rui isn't dumb, he's smarter than most humans and so he used his smarts to tell them how his luscious tail is something rich people would fight over from how neatly kept and elegant it looks. Not to mention if there's a cut on him that would just decrease his value! Rui could only smirk proudly to himself seeing how dumbfounded the workers looked after their boss scolded them for being dumber than a cat.

Today was the day Rui's fate would be decided entirely by whatever human wastes all their money on him. Rui acted innocent to please the people around them, so as far as they're aware Rui hasn't a clue about sex. Not to say he isn't a virgin, hell Rui has never expressed interest in anyone, but he definitely knows what to do during sex.

He could only sit and look pretty while he waited for his cage to be moved out to the large stage he'd be sold off to. Rui could only dream of at least being sold off to someone who wouldn't use him for sex every waking moment of the day. Hell he'd rather scrub their floors for the rest of his life instead of becoming some breeding post for an overly horny human.

The thought alone makes Rui scoff in disgust. He didn't want to lose his dignity, especially not to a human who had to purchase a living being to have sex with. How pathetic it sounded. At least Rui had some pride knowing there were people who actually wanted him.

Rui yelped as the cage was dragged in front of a large red curtain. He heard some pat the cage above him before pulling him out to stand in front of said curtain. The robe Rui was wearing was tightened so his waist was more visible. "Go make us a fortune!" The man said, patting Rui's ass.

The man is lucky Rui would be shot dead if he hissed at him.

Instead Rui breathed out through his nose and waited for the curtains to open, praying to whoever will hear him that he'll be fortunate enough to not get thrown into a terrible situation.

"Oooh~! Look Nene-chan, they're also selling old scripts from old plays!" Emu pointed to the pamphlet which showed off everything that was being sold tonight.

"Eh, really? Like the original things?" Tsukasa peeked over from his own pamphlet.
