While Shen May and Leon were waiting in the other room to discuss their plan to stop Jason, Jasper left with the intention of making a call. He retrieved his phone from his jacket and swiftly pressed a number from his contacts, pressing the phone against his ear. After a few seconds, the caller finally picked up and spoke, "Yeah?"
"Patrick. It's me, Jasper," Jasper spoke, his voice dripping with urgency.
"Holy shit. I..." Patrick muttered with disbelief before speaking with a hushed tone, sensing the weight of importance in Jasper's voice. "Where are you? I thought you guys were dead."
"There's no time. I need you to listen to me very carefully," Jasper informed him. "The hacking, the virus attack, and the submarine... it wasn't China that did it. It was all Wilson. He's trying to provoke a war with China."
"No, no, hold on, hold on. Slow down, slow down," Patrick said frantically, trying to process the information.
"Patrick. You need to tell the President about this. You're the only one there who can," Jasper stated.
"Do you think he'll believe me?" Patrick inquired.
"He will," Jasper nodded. "Do you trust me?"
"No, no. Of course, I trust you," Patrick replied, unsure how to process the information, but he was determined to trust him.
"OK, we'll see you there," Jasper said.
"Wait, Jas..." Jasper already disconnected the call before Patrick could ask more questions, shoving his phone back into his jacket. After finishing his call, Jasper walked back into the room where Leon and Shen May were waiting. "So what's our plan?" He asked, his voice filled with unwavering determination.
Leon, Jasper, and Shen May returned to the United States with a sense of urgency, determined to stop Jason and put an end to his plan. They had received a tip that Jason was hiding in a top-secret facility in Andrews Air Force Base.
As the elevator arrived at their destination, a tunnel loomed before them. "Jason said Wilson has a fully equipped lab down here," Shen May informed as the three of them began to sprint down the tunnel, their footsteps pounding in the enclosed space. "It's where he develops his bioweapons."
"Right under everyone's noses. Typical," Leon piped. The trio ran down the tunnel as fast as they could, determination surging through their veins.
Eventually, they arrived at the end of the tunnel where they were met by a large heavy metal door. Pushing it open, they entered a vast laboratory illuminated with bright lights. They heard the PA system going off, announcing, "Rogue bioweapon detected. Sterilization sequence activated. Partition wall closing. All crews evacuate the facility."
They peered over the edge of the railing and spotted a figure. There, in the center of the room, stood Jason, no longer recognizable as the person he once was. His body had undergone a grotesque transformation, with his skin that appeared almost wood-like and engorged with pulsating veins.
