Poetry is literary work in which special intensity is given to the expression of feelings and ideas by the use of distinctive style and rhythm.

My father passed away when I was only 8 years old. Every word on every page is what I truly remember about him and the stories I was told about him.

Right now am 15 years old and I feel that writing about him is a way I can honor him and maybe get rid of the emptiness. Because when he passed away I was too young to mourn him the right way.

I believe he was too much of a great father to not be mourned the right way.

When I was young every time I would write notes to him telling him that I thought he was cool, awesome and I that love him so much.

I would always express myself well through writing thus, I decided to become a writer and express myself through writing.

Ray Bradbury Quote: "Don't talk about it; write." so I decided that if I don't want to talk about it I could just write about it.

Hope you are in a good place dad, and may your soul continue resting in peace.
