I can see Jaxon's serious face while talking to the phone from a distance.

The phone call ended and he just waved at me to say that he will go first.

"Bye, Evie! Gotta go, See you!" I waved at him too.

There's a part of me getting curious where will he go.

So I secretly followed him. I hope he won't see me following him. I'm just curious.

It lead us to an abandoned warehouse. More like a secret laboratory.

I can hear people talking inside so I decided to eavesdrop them carefully.

"Sorry, I'm late." Jaxon said.

"How is it going?" A female voice. So familiar.

I didn't know that Jaxon are a mini-scientist. I admit he's good at Chemistry. I didn't expect what is he doing there.

"Time is running out. We need a specimen." A male voice that is also familiar.

"We need a female specimen." Another female said.

Why are their voices very familiar?

I stepped in closer to see their faces.

"Female Specimen? Why should it be a Female?" Jaxon said.

"Female immune system are more powerful than males." The first woman said.

Now I'm so damn curious who they are.

I carefully looked at the window to take a glance.

I'm almost there when something beside me fell.

"Damn!" I squeaked.

"Somebody there?" The male asked.

I estimated there were 4 of them, including Jaxon.

I can feel they're going towards me so I carefully walk fast.

I glance from behind and I can see two females, one male. Three of them wearing a lab gown and a facemask. So familiar.

I started running as fast as I could. I hope they didn't notice me.

Especially Jaxon.

"Evie?!"

Uh-oh.
