Evie's POV

Here I go again, getting curious on where they are.

I can't stop myself so I left our classroom and started to find them.

I walked and walked and got tired so I sat on the bench here in our Acadamy Garden.

Sweat dripped down on my skin and I wiped it with my handkerchief.

"I told you not  to tell her! Look at what you've done!" I hear voices nearby.

My senses were fast and I came close to it and hide fast.

"I did not tell her okay?! I just stuttered when I answered her." The other said.

They were 2 female voices...

And familiar.

Again.

I can't see their faces. Shit.

I'm just waiting for the right  timing where one of them sees this way to see her face.

I waited. Shit. My skin is itchy already because of this bushes!

Oh, c'mon!

And atlast!

My face lights up as the other girl  this way and I can see her face clearly.

But...

I can't believe this is happening.

Two periods to go before dismissal and Phoenix is not around since I saw her earlier talking with someone in the garden.

I can't keep myself from curiousness.

I want to ask her.

I want to understand what is really going on nowadays.

Nothing will happen if I will ask her right?

I'm currently  fixing my things since it's dissmisal time already.

Suddenly Phoenix entered the room.

"Hey Phoenix!"

She froze.

Then she turned her gaze at me.

Avoiding my eyes.

"Uh..."

She's panicking.

"I just wanna ask you something." 

"Uhm..Maybe next time, Evie. I'm busy... Gotta go! Bye!"

Then she immediately ran and left the room.

That was weird.

I walked alone going home.

Maybe my friends are too busy doing something.

I opened the door of our house and chills began all over my body realizing it was unlocked already.

Mom and Dad are busy in their work and they said they will be back here tomorrow morning.

I started to panic.

Someone is here.

I can smell smoke from my parents laboratory.

I forgot to tell you that my Parents are Top and Popular Scientists.

I entered their laboratory and I was shocked that chemicals  and the other glass tools scattered everywhere.

*beep beep*

My phone vibrated.

From: 09*********

Did you already forget about it?

Oh Shit. That message.
