Caitlin POV

"Are you seriously just gonna let your garden grow that much weed? I am starting to think you are some sort of psychopath."

"I didn't expect you to have an inch of a mean bone in your body. Guess the bubbliness can be deceiving."

"Don't tell me you are offended right now?"

"I'm not you can keep trying."

"I don't wanna waste my time trying to elicit emotions out of you. You are far worse than Michael Myers."

"What are you even talking about?"

"See you are insufferable it is hard to talk to you at times. I feel like I am in Dragon Ball dealing with an android."

"I still don't understand what you are talking about. Tell you what you list these names down and hand it to me so I can research and have an idea of what you really mean." She explained nonchalantly as if it's no big deal.

"Sometimes I wonder if you are really human." Her eyes shot up as she composed herself.

She lowered her head down to the same level as mine and was standing really close I was taken aback. "Do I not look human enough to you?" I felt my body almost froze with her icy voice and piercing stare. I am not gonna lie she is extremely good looking, possesses an over the top charisma. But when she speaks she loses all that mojo with how detached and naive she is to the world I mean except just now but in any other case I just want to cover her mouth so I could stare at her all day. I mean that would be weird tho.

"Are you just going to look at me? Or you would teach me how to mow the lawn?"

"Come with me let's take it." I was shocked when she put the 32 kg lawn mower on her back easily.

"Bei what are you doing? Put that down. You are supposed to roll it."

"Oh I didn't know." She shyly laughed at her own silliness at least I am seeing improvements in her stoic personality. "Anyway we are almost near I will roll it later when I return it.

"Bei don't flung it like that you are going to wreck it." Bea was fighting hard with the lawn mower almost flinging it across the whole yard. Even Churro got scared and immediately run up her porch.

We finally got the mowing down and lied down on her freshly mowed grass. I closed my eyes relishing the sunshine on my face. When I saw her hovering over my face. I was imagining she would lean down and kiss me. I didn't realize I was puckering my lips.

"Cait are you okay? What are you doing?" I felt ashamed of myself so I avoided her still wondering gaze and simply invited her for lunch as I was gonna be preparing one.

"This feels nice."

"Hmm?"
