Fight or Flight

Over the past few days Hiccup began to make some adjustments to the tail with Toothless. He even began to use some tricks that he found out while taking flight with Urd and Ragnar on the Dragon Training. Everyone in the village grew curious and shocked on how fast and well Hiccup took down the dragons while Urd watched carefully. She started to notice Astrid was getting mad and suspicious about Hiccups quick skills. The next morning Urd woke up first and went to grab some breakfast. She walked out of her house walking to the grand hall then heard her name being called out. "Urd. How are you?" Said Astrid walking with her. "You mean my wrist. Better actually. Kinda getting there." Said Urd walking to the table to get their plates. "Good so listen. Have you been helping Hiccup?" Said Astrid setting her plate up. "What do you mean?" Said Urd looking at her. "Oh come on. Hiccup isnt that good at taking down dragons that fast without a kill." Said Astrid. "We both know hes a smart guy. Theres other ways to stop a dragon from killing you." Said Urd. "Did you see anyone or know anything about how he got so good?" Said Astrid after they got their food and sat down at the table. "Not that i know of. Sorry." Said Urd. Astrid sighed in disappointment then ate her food with Urd doing the same. "So are you up for some practice?" Said Astrid. "You really pissed about the whole Hiccup thing." Said Urd smirking. Astrid just glared at her. "Anyways i would take your offer but im not taking any whacks from Gothi and her staff." Said Urd. "Well before you go. Stoick and the others are back." Said Astrid. "Thanks. Dont kill your future husband." Said Urd walking off with her empty plate. She place her plate on the pile near the kitchen heading outside seeing a few villagers gathering near the loading docks.

Astrid walked out seeing Urd stand by before heading off to the woods making her grow curious. She began following her until something black knocked her down and got up looking around seeing no sign of Urd anywhere making her growl in frustration heading back. Urd watched her leave from in the trees with Ragnar hanging upside down and looked at her with a soft purr. "I know i cant keep you or toothless a secret for long." Said Urd before climbing on his back. She held on as Ragnar turned them invisible taking off in the sky using the clouds to hide. Ragnar made a few sharp turns making Urd hold onto him tight and looked at her with a devious smirk. "No. No. Dont even" Urd then screamed when Ragnar bucked her off his back letting her fall. Seeing the sea getting closer and closer Urd shut her eyes feeling nothing but Ragnar holding her up by her forearms sliding her feet against the water. Steadying herself Urd smiled over at Ragnar who let go for a moment and used his snout to keep pushing her. Urd then got lifted up onto his back again flying to a small island seeing a few night terrors lounging around. She stopped on the island seeing the terrors scattering away until she sat down with Ragnar laying down behind to admire the great view. One of the night terrors crawled towards her sniffing her hand before laying on her lap. "Hopefully this is over. Not everyone sees dragons differently like me and Hiccup." Said Urd scratching its head. She didnt know how long they stayed there Ragnar looked down at Urd asleep with a few terrors cuddling around her. Ragnar soon woke her up by running his long tongue repeatedly on her face getting her up to wipe off his saliva. "You know its hard to get the dragon spit off and smell off clothes." Said Urd. Ragnar gestured her to look at the time at the sky as the terrors flew off to get some food.

"Oh Thor. Dad and Hiccup are gonna kill me." Said Urd climbing on his back. She held on as they headed back home until Ragnar suddenly turned to the different direction. "Whats going with you?" Said Urd as she saw more dragons. 'She's calling us.' Said Ragnar. Urd stayed low then saw Hiccup, Toothless, and Astrid flying close by. "Oh Thor. Astrid knows." Said Urd. Ragnar snarls looking at her then followed the dragons to a large, abandoned island soaring into the caves that Toothless went into. Ragnar crawled to the edge peering down at a large hole with Urd and the others watching. "Urd?" Said Astrid surprised to see her with another nightfury. "Yeah i got a dragon too. Now shut up." Said Urd whispered looking ahead. They started seeing the dragons drop their food into the hole one by one until a grockle dropped a tiny fing that was half eaten. Without noticing the growl from underneath and a huge dragon came out to eat the grockle whole and sink back down. "Hiccup. Astrid. Your thinking the same thing as me right?" Said Urd looking her friend and brother. "That we just found the Nest and dragons are being controlled by something much bigger then yeah." Said Hiccup as oe of the dragons saw them. "Lets move now." Said Urd. Ragnar and Toothless got them all out and flew back to Berk once it was getting late. Hiccup and Astrid got off of Toothless with Urd doing the same looking at them. "It all make sense. Its like a beehive. They are the workers and thats the queen. We have to tell your dad." Said Astrid getting off. She started to run to the village but Ragnar blocked her with Urd and Hiccup in front of her. "Are you nuts?" Said Urd. "He's gonna kill Toothless and Ragnar." Said Hiccup. "Guys. We discovered the Dragons nest that the vikings have been searching for. And you both want to keep it a secret to save your dragons. Are you serious?" Said Astrid as Hiccup past her to go to Toothless. "Yeah. We are." Said Urd as Ragnar nuzzled his face against her cheek. "And you. How long have you been keeping him?" Said Astrid looki ng at her. "For years. He was the dragon that everyone thought i killed but really . . . i saved his life. He got hurt pretty badly from dragon hunters and healed him since then we been very close." Said Urd. "Okay. I wont tell anyone but Hiccup has a final with everyone including your dad watching. What are you gonna do?" Said Astrid. "I know Hiccup will figure it out. Im gonna go home." Said Urd patting Ragnar gently on the jaw. She went through her tunnel heading to her house until she climbed up to lift the floor board slowly hearing Stoick just coming in. He shut the door walking to the shared room seeing Urd 'asleep' in her bed and 'Hiccup' in his own bed before he went to the living room to sharpen his axe.
