Fight or Flight

Long Time No See

Urd and Rune landed on flat boulder while Aesir had the six of the hunters scatter around to land their dragons. They looked around seeing a few damaged ships and huge eels swimming in the waters. Lucky for them their dragons arent scared of them as two of the hunters approach Urd while she climbed on the tall spiked rock. "Urd. Can we go collect those eels while we wait?" Said one of the male hunters. "Alright but keep a sharp eye out. This Tribe will not hesitate to kill or fight." Said Urd hitting her fist to where heart is once with the group following before splitting up. She jumped on the ship with strange cages looking at the writings but Aesir made step back from getting closer. "This is a Dragon Hunter ship." Said Aesir. "Go warn the others to stay away from them especially the dragons. Go!" Said Urd. Aesir nodded and got off the ship by jumping off the rail and land on the rocks. He looked back seeing Urd walking around after pulling out her staff before he continued on. Ragnar climbed on the ship sniffing around then heard a noise behind then seeing Hiccup and the riders coming over. He roared softly getting Urd's attention as Astrid jumped off of Stormfly and hugged her. "Look at you." Said Astrid once she let go. "What happened to Ragnars eye?" Said Fishlegs noticing Ragnar had one eye. "We couldnt save it. Even with Jera's healing potions. Thats the only before it could spread and kill him." Said Urd. "Anyways is it just you?" Said Hiccup. "No. My two cousins and six of our hunters are here too. We were originally going eel hunting but Ragnar, Night Caller, and i found Johann while we were looking for place to set camp." Said Urd. "Do i know one of the cousins?" Said Hiccup. "Yeah. Rune's here. He insisted on bringing the the group here after i told him about Dagur and didnt want the risk of losing their Chief." Said Urd as Rune jumped out of the water with a huge eel scaring the group. "Eels! Quick everyone get their before they take off." Said Hiccup. Rune wrestled with the eel before he stabbed his knife through its head killing it instantly.

Urd saw the dragons except Ragnar and Toothless take off then helped Rune pull up the dead eel. "Nice to see you again Rune and thanks alot for scaring our dragons." Said Hiccup sarcastically. "Can we find what we are looking for? I got my hunters out there along with their dragons." Said Urd. "My girlfriend is right. We split up and look into these ships." Said Snotloud wrapping his arm around Urd. "If you want to be my husband. You have to take a few tests like a walk, swim, and eat a . . ." Urd whispered the last making Snotloud pale before he let go. "Urd and I will look around these ships. And did your other cousin and hunters know about us?" Said Hiccup. "They are far off hunting eels before i went after this one." Said Rune holding up the dead eel. "Did you let them about the booby traps?" Said Hiccup. "I'll tell them before they get hurt." Said Rune as Ragnar let him get on and take off. Hiccup looked around seeing the ship Johann warned them about as Astrid and Urd noticed his look. "What are you thinking?" Said Astrid. "What is in that ship no one wants to look for? Think about it. Its covered in booby traps and no is allowed to set foot in there." Said Hiccup. "Its a death call and I don't want to tell that to Stoick." Said Urd. "It won't take long. Me and Toothless will check it out." Said Hiccup as they went to the ship. "So you're Chief huh?" Said Astrid. "Yeah and what I told Snotloud about the tests were partly true except the walk is three miles in burning hot coal, swimming with crocodiles, and hand in hand combat with the best fighters in the tribe." Said Urd. "That explains why you're barefoot." Said Astrid. "Yeah. How's it going back in Berk?" Said Urd. "Same but we all went to do our thing and explored everywhere looking for new dragons. Nothing's changed that much since you left. You?" Said Astrid. "Well I learned alot about my tribe and my own family even my parents. Three years ago we lost my Aunt Rayen. She was best friends with my mom before she became Chief. She died after me and a good friend helped her give birth to a beautiful girl we both named Asgard." Said Urd. "Must be a handful with a kid huh?" Said Astrid. "Oh she is. She knows how to crawl like a Xynaka but can't walk yet. There's times where we catch her crawling around naked or throw her cloth diapers at peoples heads." Said Urd chuckling. Astrid laughed as Ragnar rubbed his head against her side as she traced her fingers over his scar sadly. She then heard a loud scream that Urd and Ragnar turned alerted making her concerned. "We got to go." Said Urd getting on Ragnar and took off.

They flew to the call seeing the eight men standing and two on laying the floor the run ship. "What happened?" Said Urd after jumping off of Ragnar. "They triggered one of the traps. We have to head back." Said Aesir helping the man with spear through his leg. Urd looked at the other hunter seeing him holding his bleed head. "Take all the hunters home to get treated now. I'm going to stay back A-" "No. You're not!" Said Rune. "Yes I am. I'm chief and I know how to fight those idiots. Go now!" Said Urd. Rune and the others got on the dragons except two following Night Caller back to the Island. Urd went back to the ship where she left Astrid but stopped seeing the Berserkers throw them in the cages. She got on all fours crawling on the rocks going to the ship while Ragnar turned invisible. "What a good sneak attack huh?" Said Dagur. "Wait until Urd and Hiccup get here." Said Astrid. "Oh Urd's here. How is she? Did she talk about me?" Said Dagur. "Not really." Said Astrid. "Yeah. She's been pretty busy being a chief and all." Said Tuffnut. "Urd's a Chieftess?! Is she already married?!" Said Dagur. "How should we know?! She hasn't talked to us or visited in three years." Said Snotloud. Urd peeked her head through the rails until a rough hand grabbed her cloak throwing her on board but Urd pulled out her staff twisting together to use it to catch herself. She then noticed her cloak and dragon head came off showing her outfit. She wore a top that was tied by two strings. One tied behind her neck and the other on her lower back backing her scar that is covered by nightfury tattoo firing it's plasma blasts. The rest was a deer skirt exposing her thighs on the sides but had dark shorts going above the knees showing her fur ankle cuffs with no boots. "I have never been more attracted to you from when we shared our first kiss." Said Dagur smiling to see her. "Are you gonna continue checking me out or fight?" Said Urd facing him holding her staff. "Now why would I fight my beautiful wife to be?" Said Dagur. "Yeah. If you really want to marry her. There's a Xynaka test even involves eating dragon testa-" Snotloud covered Astrid's mouth before she could finish then punched him in the face with her back fist. "Your move." Said Urd putting her staff on her shoulders after putting on her cloak and head piece.
