Dragon Island

It's been two months of hiding in the Dragon Island and no sign of anyone else trying to find proved Urd's idea of not going back. She learned to survive on her own by making a shelter in the remaining woods, hunt for any food, and began to notice Night Caller disappear with Ragnar following him from time to time. Urd didn't think much of it but found it odd since those two tend to fight but right now she was alone at the beach gathering wood and walked around for her daily exercise. Caw. Caw. Night Callers flew over landing on her shoulder looking at her with his head tilted. "Where have you up to?" Said Urd scratching his head a bit. She looked around for any sign of Ragnar but didn't as Night Caller nipped at her hair that she had in a pony tail. "What you wanted by hair loose?" Said Urd earning a caw from Night Caller. She breathed looking forward saw a ship sailing over to the shore and went to her hidden she built from the drift wood. "Be on the lookout for those Night Furies." Said a voice. "Dagur and Berserkers. Great." Said Urd seeing them on the ship. She watched them for a bit until they were of sight making it an opportunity to head to the woods. Making it to her shelter Ragar was by the firepit blasting a single fire ball to the burnout wood as Urd tossed in the new ones to make the fire keep going. She sat down on the log not seeing a figure in the trees watching her with Night Caller next to them. "You might want to camouflage yourself. Dagur and his men are here." Said Urd making the fire around with a long stick. Ragnar rolled his eyes grumbling before vanishing in thin air but Urd and make out his shape. "I dont like him either but he going after you and Toothless for what happened on Berk." Said Urd looking at him. She noticed him scratching his head like a dog and stopped to see him not looking at her in the eyes.

"What in the name of Loki did you do?" Said Urd. Ragnar walked off avoiding the question until she threw a small pebble at him. He looked at her and grinned nervously before looking above fpr Urd to follow his gaze but saw someone else in the bushes. "Urd? What are you doing here my love?" Said Dagur lowering his crossbow. He came over to her campsite seeing that shes the only one here. "How did you find me?" Said Urd. "To be honest with you. I was looking for those night furies to hunt and i heard you." Said Dagur. "Are you here to hunt too?" He asked sitting next to her. "No. Im living here for bit." Said Urd. "Why?" Said Dagur. "I don't really want to talk about it." Said Urd. Caw! Caw! Caw! Night Callers appeared in front Dagur's face scaring him off the log and hit his beak against his helmet. "What's with this stupid bird?" Said Dagur waving him off. "He's my friend and obviously hates you." Said Urd. "Why? I never hurt OW!" Dagur yells after getting pecked in the eyelid. "Just go Dagur before he leaves you a present in your mouth." Said Urd. "I'm gonna check on you later my love." Said Dagur running off with Night Caller diving in to hit helmet again. Urd shook her head and heard a noise above her making her lift up her head seeing the figure squatting down on the high tree branch looking down at her. She watched them jump down behind the fire pit not taking their eyes off of her. "You're her. Aren't you?" Said the figure in a native language. "I can't understand you. Sorry." Said Urd looking at he figure confused. The figure nodded and stood up revealing his face by taking off his skull hood. "Sorry. It's been years. I said You're her. Aren't you?" Said the male teen. "Who my mom?" Said Urd. "Kachina? Yes. The one you call Night Callers is her most trust worthy friend. Is she here?" Said The teen looking around. "She died saving me when I was a baby. How do you know her?" Said Urd seeing his sadness at the news. "She's i mean She was my Aunt. Hototo and the night fury brought me here." Said the teen walking around the fire to sit next to her. "That explains why those two left and came back from time to time. I'm Urd." Said Urd looking at him.

Dagur came back to Urd's camp after Night Caller left him alone with some animals he caught and heard voices. He looked to see Urd talking to a boy in weird clothes and decided to hide behind the trees to watch them. "Why are you here?" Said the teen. "I ran away from the tribe that took me in. They didn't want me around after knowing that I wasn't a Viking and I was harming the dragons." Said Urd. "But you weren't and still no one wanted to believe you." Said the teen. "Only my adopted family and friends. I'm just a shadow to them now. Even if I did risk my life to save them. Still have the scar to prove it." Said Urd. "Can I see it?" Said The teen. Urd got up turning around to lift up the back of her top as the teen run his fingers along her scar. Snap! Urd and the teen quickly turned their heads at the noise before looking at each other. "Please tell me that was your boyfriend." Said the teen. "We're not together. My adopted dad had me betrothed to him. He's a crazy nightmare." Said Urd as Ragnar appeared again grumblings. "Yeah Dagur was watching us." Said Urd. "You hungry? I can teach you how to hunt Xynaka style." Said The teen. "Okay. Let me get a knife." Said Urd getting up. "Leave that. I saw some snakes and eels on the other side of the island. We just need to make the baskets to carry the carcass." Said The teen putting his skull hood back on. "Meanwhile I can teach you our native tongue that way you can understand better." He says as Urd followed close behind him. "Is there more in our family?" Said Urd. "Oh yeah. Plus each one of us have tasks too." Said the teen. Ragnar walked right beside them camouflaging again to keep the Berserkers off his trail. He looked around the grounds and be the lookout for any Berserkers as the teens talked quietly about their lives.
