Chapter 8 : Head back

"You're more beautiful now compared last time, your highness."

Natawa ako. "Lilibeth, it's only been three years. I only turned ten."

She pouted that's why I laughed even more. Yes, it's been two years since the first time I came here in the castle of ruins. I spent my two years perfecting my basic foundation in everything.

But the greatest thing that I have done in the past two years is that, I have mastered alchemy and my core is now stable. I am confident with my mana because this exceeds what a ten year old kid should have.

"What about our dogs?" I raised my brows.

"They're already inside the carriage."

I nodded. "Good, now we should go too. Everyone must be waiting in the castle." nakangisi akong tumayo.

Yes, I am going back.

I am done with my self training so it should be the time to start my official training to the main castle under the King. I know, I should be twelve years old bago ako bumalik but I make my own rules. Kung may dapat akong sundin, edi gagawan ko ng paraan.

The order of the King is absolute but I am a wise kid.

I have sent a letter to the King that I was ambushed in the castle and my life was at stake. He asked for proof and I knew he would. That's why I did not let Lilibeth kill the four spies last time because they will serve their purpose now, they will die for me.

I accuse them for putting my life at stake even though totoo naman, but I exaggerated everything. I said that the ambushers stabbed me and hurt me. Which will make the King angry dahil hindi sinunod ang utos niya.

Now I'm on my way back for more interrogation under the King. Kung totoo ba ang pinagsasabi ko o hindi.

The ride was smooth that's why we arrived swiftly to the Castle of Justice. Kaagad na kaming lumabas ni Lilibeth sa karwahe at dumiretso sa palasyo para pumasok sa kwarto ng paglilitis. When I set foot inside the room of interrogation, only a few people were waiting for me inside.

The King and Queen, High Judge, Duke Einstein, and some unknown faces.

I was instructed to take a seat at the center while Lilibeth remained standing behind me. They did not said a thing and started shooting me their questions when the four spies went inside.

"Papaano mo nalaman na may nagmamanman sa 'yo?"

I reacted a bit. That was their first question?

"I noticed their presence." I calmly said and I know, they doubt me.
