Chapter 14 : Witch

"You're not Adelina. Where is she?"

Napalunok ako nang itanong iyon ng guardian ko sa babaeng nasa tapat na namin ngayon.

I stared at the woman who still looks so young. She has the same elegance as me, she's a royalty. I am sure, her aura screams that she is.

Her hair is curled like spring, turquoise eyes, and warm smile. If I have a cold beauty she's my opposite, by just staring at her I feel so warmed.

Adelina is the name of the witch whom I was seeking. Alam ng guardian iyon?

The girl chuckled. "Mom isn't here, she's back in our Kingdom."

That confirms my thoughts. She's really a royalty and what? Did she say mother? Anak ito ni Adelina?

"Kingdom?" I muttered. Is Adelina's a royalty too?

But that information is different from what I have known since my first life?

"Wow, you're so pretty." iyon ang isinagot niya sa akin nang madapo niya ang paningin sa mukha ko.

She looks both fascinated and curious, her type is my pet peeve. Definitely one.

"Totoo ba iyang buhok mo? Natural ba siya? Like your eyes and that pale face, hindi ka retokada?" my face went stoic.

She's talkative.

And what the hell she said? I don't understand the few words she has spouted, I wonder if those terms exists in the world's dictionary.

"Where's the witch Adelina?" I asked once again ignoring her buffling remark.

She crinkled her face and rolled her eyes after. "Why's everyone searching for my mom! Duh?! Umuwi na siya! May duties pa siya sa bahay?"

Naguluhan ako.

Binalingan ko ng tingin ang guardian. "Is she saying the truth?" tanong ko sa guardian at tumango siya sa akin.

I still have to talk to my guardian but talking to this girl is the priority.

"Duties? Like what?" tanong kong muli sa kaniya.

"Eh? She's the queen? Malamang uuwi iyon." nanlaki ang mata ko sa narinig.

How can that girl just spout that important information?! The Witch is a queen?! Of what kingdom?!

"What Kingdom?"

"Clover Kingdom." she said as if it's a nothing kind of information.

My jaw dropped. Clover Kingdom?! It's the Kingdom where Alchemy is centered!

"What's your name?"

"I'm Calista Clover, the only princess of Clover Kingdom. The only direct descendant of the Witch Adelina."

What the heck is wrong with her? Bakit sinasabi niya lang ang lahat ng iyan na parang wala lang?! That should be a secret! Kaya nga nagtatago si Adelina dahil lahat ng tao ay gusto siyang kunin! Witch are powerful!

Witches are really rare species!

"If you're wondering why I am spouting all of this. Girl, just look at that creature beside you! A guardian?! Sa tingin mo e-echosin pa kita?!"

Echos?

I blinked, inignora ang pagkalito sa sinabi niya.

I look around.

Okay she's a witch, a princess of Clover Kingdom at that. I need her, I need the power she holds especially her mother.

"Acquiring the plant should be hard. Did you killed the ones who attempted to get this?" I changed the topic because I felt like if I will not, she will continue to yap.
