Neither Ella or Jett attended there first class today. They just sat and talked, they learnt a lot about each other. Ella isn't shy, but she doesn't usually open up to people.

3 o'clock came around fast and Ella was eager to get out of school. It was Monday which meant she had dance classes. Ella was a really good dancer. She was good at a lot of things actually. Throughout middle school she ran a lot, she sings and dances, draws and writes, plays a lot of sport, cheers and as much as she'd hate me for saying this, she is really good at modeling. Like she told Jett, she tried it once, she wanted to make her mom happy by doing something her mom wanted her to do. She looked absolutely gorgeous in the picture, not pretty, but gorgeous.

"Ella!" Mrs.Jane called from the car.

"Who's that?" Jett asked who was walking right beside Ella.

"Uh, don't know" Ella said embarrassed.

"Your mom?" Jett asked with a slight laugh.

"Yep" Ella honestly answered.

"I have to go, ill see you tomorrow" Ella waved and then walked to her car.

"Hey, did you remember my dance bag?" Ella asked her mom as she climbed into the car.

"Yeah, it's  in the back." She answered.

"I know how much you love dancing so..." Mrs.Jane started.

"So what?" Ella asked.

"So i signed you up to model for a dance magazine!" Mrs.Jane said taking her hands ff th steering wheel to clap.

"Ghee, thanks" Ella said way to sarcastically.

"Ella. I'm doing this for you! It's a dream come true isn't it?"

"Yeah. One of your dreams. Mom i have told you so many times that i hate modeling, it's not what i want to do! I've tried, remember? You keep signing me up for all these things and I know you didn't sign me up for the dancing part of this"

Ella will not let her mom keep signing  her up for all these things. When Mrs.Jones was younger she always dreamed of modeling but her mother wouldn't let her. It was her biggest dream and she wants Ella to live it, what she doesn't realize is that Ella doesn't think that modeling is a dream, she think it as more of a job.

The rest of the drive was silent, well until they reached the dance studio.

"Goodbye" Ella said as she reached over the back to grab her dance bag and then slammed the car door behind her.

Ella walked up the stairs that lead to her dance school. At the top of the stairs is a door, the door was different today. It had a bright pink piece of paper on it.

"New management" Ella read to her self. Ella didn't car too much about it, it wouldn't affect her dancing. She walked in and got ready for rehearsal. She got changed into a grey Calvin Klein crop top her mother had bought for her and a pair of her black dance shorts.

"Hi, can i please have the keys to the private room?" Ella asked at the front desk. She booked out the room the other week so she could practice her contemporary solo in silence.

"Uhm, because the school is under new management all bookings were cancelled and the room is actually being used at the moment, sorry. If you like you can use this studio?" The lady from behind the desk said and pointed to one that didn't have any walls separating it from the others. It was big enough for her routine but it had a walk way right through it. Ella liked to think things through a lot, it's another thing she is good at.

"Uh, yeah sure. Ill use that room please" Ella smiled and walked into the room. She sat her bag down and took out her phone. She plugged it into the speakers and started her practice.

Ella watched herself intently in the mirror as she danced, she wants it to be perfect. She saw someone watching her from the corner of her eye. It's kinda the reason she wanted the private room. She stopped dancing and turned around.

"Jett?" She asked herself aloud.

"Your a really good dancer" He said walking over to Ella.

"Uh, thanks." Ella said out of breath. She walked over to her bag and pulled out her drink bottle.

"I didn't know you danced here" Ella said to Jett.

"Oh, no i don't. My mom bought the business and i was just helping her move a few things around" Jett answered.

"Oh okay. Is that part of the reason you moved here?" Ella asked.

"Yeah it's the only reason actually" Jett answered.

Ella put down her drink bottle and re-winded the music back to the start.

"Well i better keep practicing" Ella said getting into her starting position.

"Yeah, have fun" Jett smiled and walked off.

"Hi, Uh Ella is it?" Someone interrupted Ella during her dance. Ella stopped and turned around.

"Yes, im Ella" Ella answered and walked over to the lady.

"Hi, im Jackie. The new manager" She put out her hand and Ella shook it.

"Why, aren't you a pretty girl?" Jackie said to Ella. Ella looked down straight away.

"Uh-" She started but was cut off.

"Mom she isn't pretty" Ella turned around and saw Jett walking over. Ella smiled and then turned back around.

"Jett don't be so rude. Look at her, she is absolutely gorgeous!" Jackie said shocked and Jetts'  comment.

"I know. She is gorgeous mom but she isn't pretty" Jett said.

"I uh, i got to go" Ella said. She unplugged her phone, grabbed her bag and drink bottle and left.

One thing Ella hates is being the center of attention. She doesn't like the feeling. I suppose it makes her feel uncomfortable.

Ella walked home. It wasn't far, maybe 15 minutes. When she got home her mom was sitting in the kitchen.

"Hey mom" Ella said quietly and then went upstairs. Ella is a very tidy person, her bed is always made and her bedroom is always spotless. She had packed away her things and was sitting on her bed talking Tayla on the phone.

"You called me today and hung up straight away" Tayla laughed.

"Uh yeah, sorry about that. I was going to talk to you before school started but then i had to help someone" Ella told Tayla. Ella and Tayla don't go to the same school. The don't even live in the same country. Tayla was born here in America in 1999, Tayla's mom was best friends with Mrs.Jane. When Tayla and Ella were 5 Tayla's mom got a really good job in Australia. So obviously they had to move. They haven't seen each other in person since then but they call each other everyday.

"Tayla, i got to go, i have a lot of homework to do. Call me tomorrow okay?"

"Yeah i will. Love you loads!" Tayla said and clicked off.

As i said before, Ella is a really good student. She always pays attention in class and never skips her homework tasks. She spends an hour or two each day doing homework.

It was about 8 o'clock before Ella stopped tonight. She hadn't eaten yet and she was starving.

"Mom, have you eaten yet?" Ella asked coming down the stairs. Mrs.Jane didn't answere.

"Mom?" Ella said walking towards her. Still no answer.

"Okay then?" Ella said and continued walking to the kitchen. Ella is very healthy, yes she still enjoys her Taco Bell but she hardly ever has it. Tonight she made herself a salad.

"Mom, i'm sorry about what happened in the car" Ella started expecting something from her mother, she didn't give her anything though, so Ella continued.

"I hate modeling. You know i do, so i just get mad at you when you keep signing me up for all these things. I will do it this one time. But that's it, okay?" Ella said, she had said this to her mother multiple times before, butt it never seems to be the last time.

"You'll do it?" Mrs.Jane asked looking up at Ella.  Ella nodded and went upstairs to eat her dinner.
