——->"Oi, Haibara.."
"Oi."
"OI! Have you even listened to a word I just said?!"
One blonde-haired Kento Nanami has just been briefed of the new mission details assigned to him by their teacher. It was tough being a second-year student, the only classmate he had was Yu Haibara and it was literally just the two of them in that class.
He was currently in the middle of relaying the information about their job to his classmate when he noticed that sometime during his explanation, Yu spaced out in front of him. Possibly because the latter kept sending him messages at 3am telling him that he "couldn't sleep" and that a rat had previously crawled up his food.
So now, Yu Haibara was both hungry and tired. In no condition at all to be doing a mission that was about to prove itself to be incredibly challenging and dangerous.
"Huh? What?" The boy with his head adrift in the clouds asked in confusion, seemingly forgetting about what his classmate just said. "You were saying?"
Nanami felt an incoming eye twitch as he gained an irk mark on his normally calm demeanor. Yes, Haibara was his best friend but sometimes the guy really had a knack for unintentionally making him mad without realizing. A clueless one for sure.
"Ahem. I said: We are going to an abandoned building in Yanaka district 096 because there was a report of a cursed womb that could potentially cause problems in the future if it evolves into a grade 1 curse or higher." he explained, patience waning and all. Even going so far as to emphasize every linking verb he used in his sentences.
Haibara snapped away from his random daydreams, nodding his head and making an "o" shape with his mouth. "Yosh! Let's go save some people!" he said, pumping his fists in the air.
Nanami could only sigh at his classmate's reaction. Typical Yu. He was optimistic and cheerful about everything and everyone, the Mr. Nice guy of Jujutsu High.

Yanaka Ginza was Tokyo's most well-preserved and old-town ambience district. It had a lot of activity both good and bad alike which could have caused the outburst of cursed spirits in this particular building located in a secluded area of the town.
The second-year duo reached the abandoned building that a window nearby confirmed. What a depressing looking place.
"Be careful and look out for any civilians that might be in danger." Nanami instructed to his classmate who seemed to strongly agree with the idea of saving lives. It was the whole reason he became a sorcerer after all.
They entered the building and walked along its dark and winding hallways, each step taken felt more ominous than the previous one. Even the dew-stained walls and foggy windows looked like they were about to collapse in on them.
"Hey, Nanami." Yu called. "Could this be an incomplete domain? Just look at the distortion of this building's interior...like it's been altered in some way, shape, or form."
He agreed with Haibara but told him that they should continue walking to hopefully stumble upon the cursed womb so this mission will be done and over with.
