"Mmhm," Eliza moans as she kisses Tara. The smaller brunette straddle's the blonde's lap, holding her face close. Eliza's hands stay glued to Tara's hips that sway ever so slightly, driving the blonde crazy.
Eliza pushes her tongue into Tara's mouth, tasting the liquor she drank. The blonde begins to feel hazy, but not from the liquor, from Tara and the way she presses her body up against Eliza. Her small hands brush over Eliza's cheeks in gentle but firm motions.
Tara, on the other hand, begins to sober up with each kiss that Eliza gives her, almost as if she's pulling the liquor right out of her. With her eyes closed she envisions them getting under the sheets and Eliza teasing her with her delicate touch. She begins to tense up at the thought of Eliza's toned body against hers, the way two puzzle pieces fit together.
Her visions come crashing down with an abrupt knock on the door.
"Fuck," Tara mutters. Eliza throws her head back into the pillows.
"Cock-blocked again," She sighs. Tara blushes.
"Stop saying cock!" She exclaims before putting her shirt back on, "What is it?"
"You need to see this. Right. Now," Quinn's voice says. With such an urgency in her voice, the two girls hurry up, all but running to the door.
They go out to the living room where their friends wait, watching the TV. Chad comes back into their apartment from the hallway.
"What's going on?" Sam asks as she walks into the apartment with Cute Boy trailing behind her.
"I'm standing in front of the apartment building where the mutilated bodies of two students..."
"Cute boy," Quinn notices, "Nice."
"Were discovered," The news broadcast continues. The friend group plus Cute Boy continues watching, "Their names have just been released by police. Jason Carvey and Greg Bruckner."
"Holy shit, that's that chode from our Film Studies class!" Mindy exclaims, sitting on the couch with her arm around Anika and next to Quinn, "The one obsessed with Argento."
"Also found at the scene were various Ghostface costumes," The reporter continues as Tara and Eliza watch intently, "a character popularized by the Stab movie franchise."
Tara looks at Eliza who looks at Sam and Chad, standing behind them. They both look worried at the mention of Ghostface.
"Pack a bag. We leave in ten," Sam announces. Tara jumps up from the couch.
"Sam! Wait, Sam!" She calls after her older sister.
"We're getting out of the city."
"What?" Cute Boy asks. Chad turns to him.
"Thank you very much, suspicious new guy, but we got it from here," He states as he gently pushes the man backwards toward the door, "Have a good night. Get home safe. Go, go, go."
Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Sam checks the knives in the chopping block, looking for the longest one.
"Sam!" Tara says, "Sam, wha—— Hold on."
"Come on," Sam states as she walks out of the kitchen armed with a knife.
"No, wait. Let's talk about this for a second. 'Cause this, this might not have anything to do with us."
"Are you serious?" Sam exclaims.
"It's a big city!" Tara exclaims in the living room as her friends watch the argument unfold, "It's Halloween. Everybody's wearing masks! You don't know."
