I walked away from the giant pool of blood and made my way to a beach covered in Junk as far as the eye could see. It was all the way until the entrance to the enchanted forest. People were not allowed to enter, heroes and villains seldomly entered due to its harsh conditions. The forest was known for having plants that seemed alien to us even though we had superpowers. Well everyone else did. It was at that point that I realized the enchanted forest was a great place for me to live, reports of the forest had mentioned that humans didn't go near it and I was honestly done with humans at this point so I made my way over and inside. I walked a little ways until I found a giant Wisteria Tree next to a good sized creek that led into a lake. The tree was massive and had pink and purple flowers blooming. The trunk was as big as a house and I was more than pleased with my find.
I climbed up the tree and sat on one of the branches overlooking the forest then thought about what I should do now. My phone broke upon impact to the ground and my clothes were covered in blood which stood out. I looked at the night sky filled with stars and thought about the words everyone had said. I realized that in the morning they'd find the big blood stain on the side of that building and probably conclude that I was dead. I then had an idea about what I would do from this point on. "You can't become a hero kid... give up." All might's voice said in my thoughts. "Fine I'll become a vigilante." I smiled then climbed down the tree. I went to my old apartment where I was kicked out and crept inside through my open window. I had always left it unlocked for me to be able to escape outside when nights got super bad with my father. I walked to my closet and opened it while trashing my bloody clothes. I rummaged through what little clothes I and found a black tank top, a white t shirt and some old gym shorts.
I went to the floor boards and grabbed my many notebooks of notes on heroes, villains, and quirks then stuffed them into a plastic bag I found on the beach. I then went back to my closet and found the hidden box of all might merch I had bought with what little money I had earned from my mother's allowance. Mom would give me money in secret so I could buy food and clothes but because I hardly ate anyway I had spent it on notebooks and all might merch. I looked at the box in disgust at then thought about selling my figurines. They would fetch a nice price and I needed the money. I then made my way to my father's work room and when I got inside I was appalled by the sight. There was a giant pile of bags containing different drugs and gun littered the walls. I decided not to go in any further due to how incriminating the room was. I made my way back to my room and on the way I grabbed a picture of my mother, I then climbed down the window and raced off to the junk yard beach with my bag in hand. I made it back to the tree and placed my bag down under it then went to the lake to wash off. The moon was emitting enough light for me to see clearly and it reflected on the surface of the water. The water looked so clear and when I got in it felt so nice. I watched as the blood on my skin faded away and into the water, once I had gotten all of the blood off I walked to the shore of the lake then changed into my white t shirt and black shorts.
The sun was starting to rise so I made my way back to the junkyard beach. It was there that I was going to need to make tools to carve out the tree and make a home. I also needed to get materials to make some support gear since I was still in essence Quirkless. I made my way out of the heave grove 0f trees and back to the beach. I walked around for hours and found lots of materials and pieces. Some essential things I found however were a busted computer, a lighter, a bunch of knives, chains, wires, and big sheets of metal. I placed all of the things I had found on a big piece of metal and attached some old rope to the piece effectively carrying all of the items back and forth from the beach to my tree. I learned a lot of engineering skills and enjoyed tinkering and building things even before my life got to this point so building the house inside of the tree came with ease. I found that in this forest there was an abundance of energy crystals. I recorded notes about them and how they were helping me to make machinery and equipment that even heroes hadn't thought of.
I made a barrier with them to prevent fires, floods, high winds, etc from breaking my hard work and house. I placed them around the land I was living on like a fence. There were four pillars around the tree and yard. Rain could still enter the barrier but it just wouldn't flood. I also used a crystal to create a visor glasses that can record information, zoom, use night vision/heat vision, and simulate a fantasy game I created and coded a while back in my note books. I made an arm brace that held a keyboard only I could interact with via crystal and what I typed could be displayed on the visor. The inside of the tree house was actually super spacious. This was because I had created a giant basement and up in the trunk was a lounge type area. The base of the tree was a kitchen and dining room. The basement underground was a bedroom with a bathroom and shower. I decided to add a tire swing on the outside's tallest branch. There were windows on the lounge level and in the kitchen. I dug a small garden on another side of the tree and decided tomorrow to get some seeds to plant.
I went inside the now carved and dug out tree. It took a week to finish with the help of the energy crystals but I was pleased with my work. I got on the computer I had restored and made untraceable then begin playing a game of chess with the rat demon aka the principal of UA, Nezu. Throughout the week of hauling junk back and forth to and from the beach, I had gained quite a bit of muscle. I would also practice fighting techniques on some tire dummies at the junkyard beach. I looked at the clock after beating Nezu in chess then decided it was time for bed. while I was laying in bed I thought to myself, why'd I make a kitchen when I don't need to eat?
