"Boy she really likes you a lot. She snuck her way to be here." Miu chuckled. "Yeah, sorry." I apologized. "Don't be, she's welcome to stay here while you work, this is a cat cafe after all." She said then guided me to the break room. "Put this apron on and work hard. I'll give you a paycheck today so you can get some new clothes. I'll also give you a spare key to get in if I'm not here." She said making my eyes widen. "No, you don't have to do that!" I said. "It's fine as long as you don't mind the paycheck being in cash." She said. "Actually that's ideal...wait no! You can't pay me on the first day!" I said making her laugh amused by my reaction. "I can do what I want, I'm the boss and owner of this place." She said matter o factly. I knew I wasn't going to get out of this so I sighed. "Thank you for your consideration." I said and she smiled. The kitchen is all cleaned, we need to make the pastries and brew the coffee but I'll leave that to you while I finish the front of the store." She said then went off to do her own thing but she popped her head back in the kitchen a few minutes later. "Record your time on a pencil and paper then I'll show you how to clock in." She said then went back to what she was doing. I nodded and finished up the coffee.
It was six o'clock now and I finished the pastries about ten minutes ago. Almost immediately upon the cafe opening, a scruffy looking man who I immediately recognized as erasure head came in. I wanted to fanboy so much since he was now my favorite hero. I hacked into the heroes system and found out that he fights mainly quirkless because his quirk erases a quirk but has no physical capabilities that could aid him in battle. He also doesn't do it for fame and stays out of the cameras for that reason. "Welcome." I said bowing and asking how I could help him. "I'll take a... oh? There's a new item on the menu. I'll take a piece of pumpkin bread and a black coffee for here." He said and I nodded. He sat down at a table and watched as I went to the back to get his food and drink. When I came out he asked if I was new. "Yes, I started this morning." I said and he took a sip of his coffee. When he did his eyes widen in surprise. "This is really good!" He said happily then took a bite of the pumpkin bread. "This is amazing!" He said enjoying himself, Miu noticed and came out. "That's great to hear because Izu here made it." She said patting my shoulder. My eyes widen in surprise. "How'd you know my name?" I asked noticing it wasn't my full name which would be a dead give away, then Sashi Meowed. "Ah gotcha." I said then turned back to help another customer that came in.
AIZAWA:
It was a long night last night on patrol. There was a sex traffic deal going on but by the time I arrived, the thugs were covered in rainbow spray paint. The leader had broken elbows and a note on his forehead. "Leader buttface." It read in red sharpie with a bunny drawn next to it. I snickered seeing the note and found that the thugs were all unconscious with the worst injuries being broken limbs. I talked to the victim and she said, "a vigilante came and saved me but I was so panicked I couldn't make any details about the person out. I was about to ask another question but then heard another scream. When I arrived it was the same result with a different note written on their foreheads. "Don't do drugs, kids." It read and then I noticed the zip ties. I had never seen anything like these zip ties before or the way these villains have been apprehended. This mysterious vigilante had a sense of humor thought, that much was certain. After a whole night of my thunder being taken it was time to go to UA and report. I stopped by my usual cafe and was about to order my usual when I noticed a new item on the menu and a new employee. It was strange to see an employee here this early and he looked like a middle school kid.
I watched as this kid went back to the kitchen and came out with the holy liquid and a wonderful smelling pastry. He watched as I tried my coffee and bread then when I said it was good he smiled in relief. Another customer came in and he went to help them. "Alright Miu, Spill it. Who's this young coffee prodigy and why does he look like he's dressed for the gym?" I asked noticing how young the kid was. "Well his cat said his name was Izumi Miyagi, that was about it. I tried to ask the cat to give me more details but She refused." She said huffing. "What's his cat's name?" I asked. "Sashi." She smiled. "You seem happy." I said. "Well Izu was the first person that black cat had taken a liking to." I raised my eyebrows in surprise. "You mean that two tailed teen cat?" I asked and she nodded. "That cat never let me get near it." I muttered and slightly pouted.
I decided to do my report from my laptop and explained to Nezu there was a kid at the cafe I was interested in. I was expecting nezu to urge me to come in but he said, "okay." And something about the way it was sent, sent shivers up my spine. "How long does the kid work?" I asked Miu, "until noon. I tried to get him to leave earlier but get this! This kid has already graduated from college." She said excitedly. This made me almost spit out my coffee. "What?! How old is this kid?" I asked. "Why don't you ask him yourself?" Miu said calling Izu over. "What can I do for you sir?" He asked politely. "I heard you have graduated college, I was wondering how old you were when you did so." He looked a little troubled by the conversation but he answered. "Second year of Middle school so 11?" He said not thinking hard on it. Both me and Miu were surprised by this information. I decided to watch the kid work and do my paperwork from the small cafe then when noon came around he picked up Sashi and left. "Did Izu just leave?! He didn't get his pay!" Miu said running around in a panic. "I'll give it to him." I said grabbing my computer and taking the envelope then running after the kid.
