𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗬 𝗔𝗙𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗥 - 𝗮 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄

𝗲𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝟮-𝟮

"Try to grab as much food as possible," Chanmi whispered to Zen, "Those we would possibly need, obviously."

Wonya, with a competitive soul, sprinted towards the dairy truck to grab a box of eggs, then to the seasoning truck for sugar, soy sauce, Japanese sweet wine, dashi powder, and vegetable oil.

"Yo, is this woman Flash?" Elliot gawked at the speeding person in front of him.

The grain truck was indeed crowded - Pamela snatched a bag of pasta, Doah fought for rice, Zen went for flat rice noodles, Minho got some penne pasta, and Jake stole a bag of wheat flour.

While the grain truck was a mess, Nari sneaked to the vegetable truck and grabbed a handful of baby corn, then hurried to the seasoning truck (before it was too late) to grab the spices she needed for the jalfrezi sauce.

As expected, the crowd moved from the grain truck to the seasoning truck - people fought for sugar, vegetable oil, salt, and other seasonings and spices needed for their dishes.

Wonya and Nari were lucky and fast enough to get their ingredients from the place and run away before they became pancakes. The two were the fastest to complete their grocery shopping and returned to their partners.

"First place, Wonya and Elliot! And second place, Nari and Nokoa!" Misul announced.

Compared the the now-packed seasoning truck, the dairy truck had a lot more space for participants to pick out their dairy products. Asher stood lazily by the truck and put eggs, milk, and butter into his basket. Noticing that the crowd had gone elsewhere, he walked to the grains truck to get a bag of white bread.

"This guy surely thinks differently," Sooyun commented as her partner walked to the seasoning truck, now clear, to add vanilla and cinnamon to his basket.

"Third place, Asher and Sooyun!"

Zen, after getting noodles and the multitude of choices of spices and seasoning, went to the lonely meat & seafood truck to get shrimp. Returning, he proudly handed his basket of ingredients to his partner.

"Fourth place, Zen and Chanmi!"

Doah, after getting curry and rice, ran to the vegetable truck to add onions, potatoes, and carrots into her basket. She was one step away from crossing the finish line when Eunro turned her around and lightly pushed her back, reminding her of the important ingredient she left out - chicken cutlets.

"Oh shit!" Doah widened her eyes and practically teleported herself to the meat & seafood truck to get well-done chicken cutlets.

"Fifth place, Doah and Eunro!"

Jake didn't disappoint his partner as he picked up flour and active dry yeast from the grains truck and eggs and milk from the dairy truck at light speed. Checking the ingredient list Audrey wrote him before the game started, he flew to get white sugar, vegetable oil, salt, and vanilla from the seasoning truck.

"Sixth place, Jake and Audrey!"

Pamela returned next with pasta from the grains truck and basil leaves, chopped walnuts, garlic, parmesan cheese, olive oil, and salt and pepper from the seasoning truck.

She wiped the non-existent sweat on her forehead. "All this for the pesto sauce," she complained jokingly.

"Seventh place, Kai and Pamela!"

Minho looked speechless as Jia put down two full baskets of ingredients.

"Chicken breasts, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, black pepper, penne pasta, parsley, parmesan cheese..."
