Late night was prime time in Starry Affair - at 10:57 PM, the participants were either nestled on the couch or sprawled on the rug in front of it, watching a movie together in the living room as they munched on snacks and whispered to each other quietly.

Then, the doorbell rang. Miko, being the closest, got up and opened the front door to find Misul and Yubin in casual, denim outfits.

"We're having our first activity here in China!" Yubin excitedly announced as soon as the door in front of her was opened.

All heads turned to the doorway and all eyes were on them the moment they stepped into the place. Audrey reached for the remote controller and muted the movie that was still playing on the TV while Elliot opened the lights.

"Finally something to do after spending days staring at the wall in my room," Kenji muttered.

Misul cleared his throat. "So, you will be having an anonymous letter night - You have until Sunday evening to write a heartfelt letter to someone on the show that expresses your true feelings, which leaves you about... three days."

"The letter shall be in paper form; no emails or text messages will be accepted. We have a red mailbox in the garden, if any of you noticed. Once you're done with the letter, you can slip it in there and we will collect them," he explained further.

"A letter?" Jia glanced at Nari with a grin. "Doesn't sound like it has to be-"

Yubin seemed to remember something as the words came out of Jia's mouth. "You write the letter to a participant of the OPPOSITE gender. We're a straight show, thank you very much," she cut her off before she said those terrifying words.

"Thank you for saying this, these people lack something called common sense," Misul shook his head in disbelief. "The limit is three letters maximum. And you should write at least one."

Other than announcing activities, the hosts seemed to be of no use to the participants; they left once everyone understood the message.

Before closing the door, Yubin poked her head back in. "And just in case any of you go crazy and write three letters to one person..."

"That is NOT allowed," she finished her sentence before closing the door. Laughter filled the room as everyone glanced at a certain snuggled-up Asher and Sooyun with a knowing look.

Since it was getting late, people started returning to their rooms one by one. By midnight, the house was quiet, with most participants either asleep or enjoying some downtime alone. The TV was turned off long ago along with the lights of the living room and the crack of an aluminum can being opened could be heard in the darkness.

The person in the living room was about to leave when the small lamp in the corner was turned on by someone else - Doah, who almost jumped upon seeing someone still sitting on the couch in silence, a can of beer in his hand.

"Thought you'd be sleeping 'till now," she placed her hand on her chest to steady herself.

Minho shrugged. "I was, just not in my room. It was fun, really."

"You should sleep again," Doah replied, settling in beside him, crossing her legs.

"Chasing me away so soon? Ouch."

Doah rolled her eyes. "Bro no, I thought you were tired, you've been dead and quiet the whole day. But sure."

"I just woke up from a nap?" Minho asked, confused. "I can't be tired after waking up from a nap, can I?"

"Well, I thought you found your nap fun."

Minho circled the rim of the can in his hand with a finger. "Not without you."
