MOVIE NIGHT

---

We all went in one by one and took off our shoes at the entrance. Then we went deeper into their smaller hotel apartment. It looked... okay, I guess.

"Okay, what's next?" I asked as we carried our things into one of the rooms.

"And how are we going to sleep?" Ann asked and winked at me inconspicuously. I don't know what she's hinting at. I don't want to sleep next to those two.

"We have two beds and one couch," said Lena.

"So we'll sleep two to a bed," Ann pondered and smirked at me. God, just spill it out already.

"Yeah, that's right," nodded Lisa.

"Uh, what are your wonderful pairings?" I asked.

She definitely wants to sleep next to Marcus. I don't want to sleep with Lisa or Lena... After all, they are twins, which means they can sleep together, and then only Tinus and... me are left?

"I have a suggestion," said Ann. We all looked at her.

"Lisa and Lena have definitely slept together before, so they can take one of their rooms. It's their place. Marcus and I will take the couch, and Sarah and Tinus are best friends, so they can survive one night together in a bed." She smiled.

I tried not to look too determined. "Uh, sure, no problem," I cleared my throat and nodded.

"Mhm, okay," Tinus nodded too.

The girls just nodded as well. Okay, I'm glad there's no objection. Actually, I think it would be awkward if one of them spoke up because this is the most logical way to decide about it without anyone sleeping on the floor.

"So, movie night!" Marcus said.

"Sarah, come help me make popcorn, while you guys pick a movie," Ann dragged me into the kitchen with her.

"You don't know how to make popcorn?" I asked, confused, and glanced at the guys and LeLi picking up the movie. I need keep an eye on the love of my life.

"Haha, aren't you going to thank me? I expected more gratitude," Ann said while searching for popcorn in a bag.

"Huh?" I didn't quite catch what she was saying because I noticed Lisa and Martinus starting to talk. What could they be talking about?

"Well, your room and sleeping partner, of course," she grabbed my face and turned it towards her.

"Oh, right, haha, well, thanks," I smiled. "I couldn't have thought of it better myself. I can always count on you, Annie." Meanwhile, Annie took out the popcorn and poured it into a bowl, which she placed on the sink.

"So, I think your time has come."

"My time?" I looked confused.

"The time to make the first move!" She exclaimed excitedly.

"Move towards what?" I don't know from where, but Martinus appeared next to us with a piece of popcorn in his hand, putting it in his mouth as he leaned on the sink.

"Huh!? T-to nothing important? Actually, haha, I don't even know what she's talking about?" I panicked and started babbling nonsense.

"Oh, Martinus, don't eat that yet!" Ann slapped his hand. "And don't eavesdrop on private conversations."

I quickly slipped away. That was embarrassing, uh. I sat down on the couch, and gradually, everyone else joined. Next to me was Martinus, and next to him, Lisa and Lena.

"And what movie is it?" I asked.

"Horror, let it be a surprise," Marcus, sitting on the armchair, smiled at us.

"Oh, I don't like horror movies," Lisa squealed and buried her head in Martinus's shirt. Doesn't she also want to sit on his lap? She's a great actress. Throughout the movie, I couldn't concentrate. First of all, it wasn't even that scary, just occasionally startling us all.

"Well, it's over now," Tinus patted Lisa on the back because she still had her head in his shirt.

"Really?" she looked up, trembling.

"No," I said ironically. Everyone looked at me as if I were a murderer.

---

Heya!

So, Annie looks like Nora Gartland - Marcus's real-life girlfriend. I would have given her the name Nora right away, but I wanted to stick with the original characters to stay as true to the original story as possible.
