"What is it?" I asked when I noticed Martinus staring at me.

"Uh, nothing," he replied, looking away.

"Hmm."

Once LeLi also got rid of the stuff on their faces, we decided to go out to eat. We changed and headed to the nearest restaurant. We all dressed in not-so-colorful outfits to draw less attention to ourselves.

We sat down at a table and ordered food. I ordered waffles with fruit. Later, I noticed two girls standing about 5 meters away, glancing at us discreetly. Hmm, I bet they're fans trying to decide whether to approach us or not. I nudged Tinus. He looked at me disinterestedly. Right, he's listening to very boring monologue from Lisa; she probably made something up just to sound interesting...

Tinus eventually noticed them too, and they suddenly came over to us. Then the typical photo-taking and signing session began. The guys are really kind to their fans and always try to do everything they can for them, even if it sometimes disrupts their privacy. I watched as the girls giggled and smiled while taking photos.

"Ah, could you please take a picture of all of us?" one of them asked, handing me her phone.

"Uh, sure." I nodded and took her phone. I took a picture of the two of them with the twins and was about to return the phone, but she stopped me.

"Wait, could you please take a picture of all of us?" She gestured for Lisa and Lena to join them. I just nodded and waited.

"Annie, take a picture with us too, pleeease!" one of them pleased. Annie looked a bit surprised but eventually stood up and joined them. Okay, now I'm starting to feel a little awkward. I took a few more photos and returned their phone. Then I sat back down, and they chatted for a while before returning to their table, and we continued eating.

"I'm going to get a straw." I stood up and went to the counter.

"Do you think that second girl was Martinus's girlfriend?" I overheard an unintended conversation between the two girls who had just taken photos with them, as they were sitting near the counter.

"Pfft, no way, she's probably just a bodyguard or something, staff who watches over them," the other one replied.

"Hmm, so she was basically just doing her job." They both laughed about it.

I felt my pulse rising from the anger. I closed my eyes and tried to calm down so I wouldn't accidentally explode in public. I just walked back to my seat with my head down.

"Is something wrong?" Ann asked me.

"No, why?" I smiled at her. I tried to finish quickly so I could get out of there.

"Uh, guys, I just remembered I need to stop by a store. I forgot my toothbrush at home and need to buy a new one." I used the first excuse that came to my mind and quickly left.

Walking with my head down, someone suddenly bumped into me. It spun me around 180° and I fell on my butt. "Sorry, are you okay?" some guy asked, offering me a hand to help me up.

"Today is just not my day," I mumbled to myself.

"Wait... aren't you that girl from Xinder?" the guy I bumped into suddenly said.

"Huh? James?" I looked at him.

"Yeah, it's you, right? Sarah? What are you doing here?" he asked, confused.

"Well, that's a long story..." He helped me up, and I started explaining how I ended up there.

"Heey, so you're basically here just for the concert?" James asked me.

"Yep, but I think I shouldn't have come..." I said with a crooked smile.

"Why? Aren't you glad we ran into each other?" he raised an eyebrow.

"No, it's not that—" I couldn't finish because... my phone rang.

"Tinus? Is that one of the twins?" he peeked over my shoulder at the phone.

"Ah, yes." I raised my eyebrow. What does he want?

"Aren't you going to answer it?"

"I don't feel like it."

"I understand that you felt uncomfortable around them, but maybe you should answer him."

"He's not my mom," I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Then I'll answer it!" He snatched the phone from my hand.

(J-James, M-Martinus, S-Sarah)

M: Sarah, where are you?
J: Hi, this is Sarah's friend James.
M: Wait, who?
J: James.

"Oh my God, give that back!" I shouted and grabbed the phone.

S: Yes, Martinus, what do you want?
M: I really hope you're not with that guy from Xinder?
S: And what if I am?
M: For heaven's sake, he's a stranger... You don't know him at all, he could be some creep or drug dealer. Sarah, come back to the hotel immediately.
S: Pfff, calm down.
M: I'm serious, Sarah.
S: So am I, Martinus.
M: Where are you? I'll come get you.
S: No, thanks.
M: Please come back to the hotel...
S: I'm not in the mood yet.

Heya!

Today I was reminded of how shitty this story is written and how hard it is to edit because the content is really off-topic.
Fun fact: when I wrote this chapter before I cried about how I wanted to go to MM concert in Prague, but I was young and it was impossible... how sad, now back to present where I'm going to their concert this Saturday. :) Ah I'm so excited. I'll tell u everything about it next time!
