Alastor's statement was on my mind all night. It was very out of character for what I've known of him these past few years, and I'm still not exactly sure what to make of it. I feel like I should be concerned, but at the same time what am I supposed to do about it? I know this is important to figure out, especially considering that my soul belongs to him, but as of this moment I have more important priorities.

I wait in front of the V's tower in my bunny disguise and dressed up outfit. I did agree to go with the outfit that Alastor picked out; a sweater dress with cuts along the sleeves, but nothing that showed too much skin along my bust. Though with how skintight the dress is it shows my figure pretty well. The bottom of the dress ends a little above my knees, which shows most of my legs. I also went with a nice pair of matching heels, again, like Alastor recommended.

I look at my phone again to check the time and sigh. He's not late, but it's getting close to time. I run through the plan in my head again, trying to think of how I'm going to convince Vox to let me have a drone by the end of this date. My goal is to have a drone in hand without having to get too close to Vox by the time this night is over. Fingers crossed I'm able to pull this off.

I watch as the doors to the tower open and Vox walks out. He's exactly on time as I expected. He's not in his normal work suit like I'm used to seeing him, but he's still dressed up pretty well. A pair of black slacks along with a dark blue turtleneck sweater that fits his frame. It's a nice combination on him honestly. If I was a girl that actually was interested in Vox, I'd be impressed.

"You look great." Vox compliments me with a big smile. I don't miss how his eyes move up and down my frame as he says the words. "So, where did you decide you want to go?" He asks. We're already getting the attention of other demons on the street. Some simply stop in their tracks and move on, while others are whispering to each other. Some are even so brazen to take out their cellphones and take a picture of the two of us. I know we'll be on social media by the end of the night. I do my best not to let that bother me.

"There's a nice place on the West side of the pentagram with an Italian theme. I hope that's okay." I explain politely with a smile. "Plus, if we are on that side of town, we can get a glimpse of some of the drones in action. Make sure they're doing alright." I recommend. I remember from working with Vox that the drones should be doing flight tests on the West side of the pentagram.

Vox laughs and shakes his head. "Truly, do you ever stop thinking about work?" He asks as he holds his arm out. If I remember correctly, Vox is originally from the 1950's and still has some of those gentlemanly tendencies that remind me of traditional gender roles during dates. Being from the older eras, I truly don't mind it. I hold onto his arm and we start walking, but just a little bit until we get to the limo that's waiting for us. Vox opens the car door and motions for me to get in first. Once I'm comfortable he follows, closing the door. "Let's try and talk about other things besides work. Tell me more about yourself." As he so smoothly tries to get me to open up, he's pouring two glasses of champagne from the small bar in the limo.

"Well, where do I even start?" I laugh a little, trying my best to act a bit shy. "What do you want to know?" I question.

"How about you tell me where you're originally from. What got you sent here." Vox recommends as he hands me one glass. I clink my glass with his and take a small sip.

"Let's see..." I mutter, twirling my glass a little. What do I want to say that's truth and what should I cover up? "I was born in the Midwest but moved to the South in the early 1930's. Things were so much simpler." I mention as I shake my head a little, remembering back to that time.

"The 1930's huh? I knew someone from that time." Vox mentions as he takes a sip from his glass. I wonder if he's referring to Alastor. I don't think Vox knows he's back in town and I probably shouldn't be the one to tell him.

"I'm sure there's a few of us." I laugh a little, trying to change the topic. "As to what got me here, I was quite the mischievous thief back in my day. This was back during The Depression after all. If I could get anything fancy that would help put food on my table, then I would happily take it. Even if that meant taking a Rolex watch from a pompous asshole." I say with a little bit of a bite in my tone.

Vox laughs, he seems like he's actually enjoying this conversation. "It would almost sound like you have a little bit of greed hiding in you. But, if you were just doing it to stay afloat, that doesn't sound exactly... Hellish." He points out. He's not exactly wrong. He's the first one in a long time to notice that there's more to my story than what I share. But that doesn't mean he'll be getting the truth from me today.

"Well, I may have had a little extra fun and taken more than what I truly needed." I bat my eyes a little. "If I wanted a new pair of shoes I would find a way." I lie. "But you intrigue me more." I try to move the focus onto him, finishing my glass. "Your power and interest in technology. Have you always been this way?" I ask him.

"Yeah, I've been interested in how technology changes over time. Especially how television tells a story and draws people in. You can find an interest for everyone." Vox explains. It's actually an interesting explanation. "With the help of Valentino and Velvette, I've been able to learn a lot more about how television can expand too. Both with a market that doesn't want to be seen but wants to watch, like the porn industry. As well as a market of amateurs that wants to share their lives, like social media." Vox explains as he offers to fill my glass again.

"It is pretty interesting." I play along with Vox's interest as I hold my empty glass towards him, letting him fill it up again. "I see why the three of you got into business together then. You do make a good team." I compliment, which makes him smile. I take another sip, looking up at him from my cup.

"So, what information can you tell me about the new drones that you have flying around?" I question, doing my best to get to business during this date.
