With the book under my arm and my running shoes now on, I run like hell back to Levi's house. My fast stomping can be heard from a mile away, and yet I still need to hurry the fuck up. I never really thought the books on my bookshelf would one day come to haunt me like this. Then again I kind of don't have any space to speak since I'm hardly in danger here.
Blaire and Levi are.
And I need to hurry the fuck up before I lose them both to these wicked creatures. Who knows what else fucking escaped the underworld. Hell, i won't be too shocked if i saw a gangly beast strutting the sidewalk.
Point is: Levi isn't having some type of vampiric allergic reaction or some shit. He's been poisoned.
Whatever he ate or drank, it must have contained the posion. It's almost impossible to get this type of poison anywhere near Celestia. It has been extinct for almost three centuries. Now, I wasn't born three centuries ago, but you can do wonders when you have historical books from Celestia.
I read about this posion before. I usually wouldn't strike anyone to be the nerdish kind, but reading about this is anything but nerdy. Without these books, i wouldn't have been able to survive as a vampire. And, without those books, i wouldn't have known that Levi has been poisoned with Lycanthrope venom.
Meaning, Werewolves.
Centuries ago, before the king of the now called Celestia was murdered, he sent out armies to hunt them down once he noticed the threat was getting too close to his kingdom and his son. It took ages to track down every bloodline, but he did kill almost every werewolf in Celestia. By the time they rid themselves
of the werewolves, a lot of vampires were killed and a lot of enemies were made. That's why the king's now dead. They couldn't get him the cure fast enough.
No one has heard of the prince yet.
A lot has changed since the king died, some good, but the rest are downright horrendous.
But all I know is that the werewolves didn't just kill the king. A lot of innocents were murdered that night just for the crime of being in the castle at the time.
One of the few good changes that happened after the King were; Portals.
Well, actually, in this rusty ass town, there's only one. But there's plenty all over the world that leads to Celestia. Before the portals, Vampires used to use spells to open the gates of the underworld by using old ponds, sea caves or just hunt down moonlight creatures to draw from their energy. A.K.A werewolves.
I think part of that is just made up-actually, I think a lot of stuff I read about Celestia is made up-but it's what I read. And that's apparently why they couldn't cure the King fast enough, no full moons were arriving, no natural ponds were in Celestia at the time and there certainly weren't any seas nearby to draw power from and there'd been no more werewolves to hunt down.
Looks like they made a safely return back to existence.
The king died because the cure was here in the normal realm. Actually, it still is. Actually, it's right in my hand at the moment.
A sample of Angel blood straight from my dear mother's bio lab. I read that Angel blood, although rare, it's found in the highest of mountains and in the deepest of wells only. I have no idea how or who brought those to my mum, but she does have it.
Well, did. Since I'm now going to use it on Levi. I don't dwell much about the fact that my mother had fucking Angel blood with her, because right now isn't the time to think about stuff like that.
