Bad Bite

The next day everything was about the same. Only I didn't have Nutella pancakes. But all of my classes were still boring and I didn't pay attention much. The only other thing that changed was that Koda and I talked a little more. I sat down with him at lunch again just because I didn't know anyone else.
"You again," he said and rolled his eyes.
"Yup," I said,"I guess you just have to live with me," and I faked smiled.
"Why do you sit over here anyway."
"Because I don't know anyone else and you sit all by yourself."
"Well I never asked you to sit over here."
"Well I guess you'll just have to live with me." I said with a smirk. He just rolled his eyes. We didn't talk much after that.
When I got home from school, Emma texted me. She told me that a senior named Jack was having a party. I told her I could go and she said that she would be over in an hour. That was definitely not enough time to get ready.
I quickly shaved my legs and then put on some bomb ass clothes. I curled my hair into thick spirals and winged my eyeliner perfectly. I was starting to brush my teeth when I heard Julia honk. I quickly finished and rushed outside.
When we got to the party there was a lot of people there. The smell of booze filled the house. Apparently Jacks parents were gone for a few days.
I was having a great time scrolling through my Instagram feed (I wasn't into partying much) when I noticed Koda walking by. I rolled my eyes as soon as I saw him. He did the same as he saw me.
"What the hell are you doing here?" I asked.
"Um I was invited to a party, and I showed up."
"Ok well please stay as far away from me as possible."
Right then there was a loud bang on the door.
"POLICE. OPEN UP," yelled a booming voice.
Luckily I was near the backdoor, so I took off running. Again,luckily, Jack lived right near some woods.
I thought that it would be the best ace to hide since it was covered.
After running for about 30 seconds, I was at the edge of the woods. I turned around to see about 10 other kids and 2 cops. I kept running. I was not getting arrested.
All of a sudden, I was jerked back by something. Koda.
"What the hell." I yell/whispered.
"I know where to hide. Follow me."
"Why should I trust you? And it looks like the cops are gone anyway."
"Well then go ahead. Get arrested."
"I wont," I turned around and started walking.
All of a sudden I heard Koda shout "JULIA."
I turned around, but it was too late. I was already falling to the ground.
