Since the girls and I decided to just meet at the airport and I kinda live not too far compared to Tash, I was still able to double, triple check my stuff. We live in different cities so it would save us more time and more practical that way.
Cia, who lives in Alabang, Tash in Q.C and I in Makati. The three of us arrived almost the same time. 4 hours before the flight. After checking in, we all went to the lounge seated with our coffee and some snacks while waiting for our boarding time when suddenly Cia stated something which caught Tash and I's attention.
Btw guys, someone's back. Cia said lowly but clear enough for us to hear.
I raised my right brow as I look at my friend who seems to enjoy the curiosity on our faces.
Who? It was Tash who asked the the question I was about to ask.
Guess, who?
Gosh. Anong trip netong babaeng 'to? Are we playing charades? Di ako na- prepared.
I don't even have a single idea. Does that person have something to do with us? For sure it's someone we know. Probably Kei? Louis? or Miko? Amanda? They all went abroad to study college after finishing senior high.
Apparently, we are friends with the so- called "mga anak ng politiko" and used to hang out with them when we were in high school. You know, even in schools have this hierarchies or social class. I am friends with the four of them but not really as tight and solid like my relationship with Tash and Cia. I've been friends with them since time immemorial.
Cut the crap, Cia. Just say it. The ever impatient Tash spoke after me.
Hay. So impatient talaga this girl. Cia commented earning an eye roll from Tash.
She laughed at Tash's reaction.
Kiko. That's what she said while looking at me.
That single word alone was enough to make everything around me go silent. Like there was a bomb that just exploded.
FUCK ME.
HE'S BACK!
