Darkness reigned in the shadowy backalley the Doppelganger demon stood in silently as he collected his own thoughts..
His eyes closed.... in a state of deep thought.. many things he was not prepared for had happened that night. But above all of them was the events of his encounter with the Hooded Hellhound personally.
He had by all means intended to end the warriors meddling with his masters plans then and there.
And yet....
His eyes remained closed as the memory of the Hellhounds face appeared to him just when he was ready to deal the finishing blow the very thing that would have allowed them to continue with their plan uninterrupted.
He had hesitated...
"That face...." the demon thought to himself as he raised one of his shadowy claws to look upon it.
Why did he hesitate...?
As the doppelganger thought about what had transpired another memory came to him as he remembered the image of Kaguyas smug face looking back at him as his attempt to capture the female hellhound and bring her back to his master had been foiled by the foxes protection.
He narrowed his eyes remembering The girl huddled up underneath Kaguyas tails as he could do nothing but watch knowing full well just how strong the nine tails herself was. He did not doubt his own strength but she was more than a formidable foe and fighting her at that time to get to the girl would not have been optimal.
Having seen enough he simply turned to leave and go back to his masters original plan of summoning lucifer. How ever the words he heard her say when he did so stopped him.
"Leaving so soon~" He had remembered her say.
This phrase for whatever reason annoyed him greatly. But the tone she took while smug as it maybe... he sinced another tone as if she was actually surprised by his unwillingness to stay.
"What exactly are you waiting for~?" He remembered her say again as he clenched one of his shadowy fists.
The particular phrase made him angry enough to the point that his body started shifting between the many demons he had changed into in the last few decades constantly shifting enraged as he dwelled on it.
Suddenly the shifting stopped as he looked up, another memory coming to him as he remembered the sleeping hellhound in Kaguyas lap.
Suddenly it started to rain as he looked up having left the alleyway walking onto the sidewalk beside the road he was on.
"HEY WATCH IT!!" He heard as reptilian demon had walked into him hitting his shoulder.
He simply looked on towards the other demon mindlessly to in thought to care as the reptilian demon growled for a moment before turning and leaving seemingly intimidated.
"Fuckin hellhounds..." He heard him say in confusion before lifting his claws again only to see the form he had shifted into upon his rage calming down.
"hmph.." He grunted out loud to himself before the form dissipated back to his usually shadowy self before he turned away melting into a shadow along the wall of a nearby building.

Your eyes opened as you once again found yourself in the dark circular room from before as you walked forward into it.
Just like before.... the floor in the room lit up with multiple lines of light trailing from the statue of Amelia in the center of the room as you looked at them all.
