Seeking the Truth...: Part 1

You yawned slightly as you cleaned the meeting room casually sweeping the floor of all the junk left around the room by the small companies employees. It was amazing honestly. Only 4 people and yet the amount of junk you were finding in each room just left in random places made it feel like there was a whole team of 12 or so in this place.

Except for Moxxies office though you noticed.... His was completely clean and tidy you barely had to do anything.

This was something that made you think as you took a moment to remember the many demons you had met since your time being in hell.

On earth a lot of stories and second hand info you learned about them led you to believe them as mindless tormanted creatures but the ones you have met even the more evil associated ones all seemed to have goals and ideals, different personalities and such... Stolas... was a good example always showing compassion for his daughter.... as well as finding out Lucifer had a daughter. He didn't show up until Charlie was on the verge of being harmed.

Thats not something you would have expected to see here.

It was strange.... honestly in a lot of ways you didn't really feel like you had swapped dimensions but rather you had landed on a different planet instead.... I mean Yeah unlike earth this place had things like magic and stuff that earth did not but.... The people you met all still seemed to have different lives.... if you could even call it such a thing here.

The current squad.... even if they were demons... you could honestly say were pretty cool to be around so far.... outside of the unhinged stuff they would say and do sometimes.... even Loona to some extent wasn't all that bad.

There was a sound as you heard the front door open and close again signaling someone else had entered the office.

Deciding that the meeting room was clean now you went ahead to investigate only to see Moxxie and Millie had entered.

"Oh hey Mox hey Mills." You said as they greeted you back.

You looked over to the sound of a phone ringing only to see loona pick it up as she began conversing with whoever it was that had called the company phone.

The longer she spoke to whoever it was the more agitated she seemed to get as whoever it was on the phone sounded like they were getting just as upset.

"Listen buddy for the last time If you want us to accept a job such as this you would have to make an appointment with my boss AND pay upfront!!! Ya hear me!! you don't just.... fucking call in anonymously and expect us to just... ACCEPT!!! without knowing any real DETAILS!!" Loona yelled into the phone.

Moxxie and Millie couldnt help but look somewhat as well.

"You guys usually get calls like that?" You asked Millie and Moxxie in a low tone not to be too loud and accidentally interrupt The call loona was having.

"Sometimes... not as often as you would think though." Millie said.

"Most of the phone calls we get don't go very well. However usually its not the customers fault.... If you know what I mean." Moxxie added.

You just nodded your head in an Ooooooh fashion as you looked back towards loona who was now violently cussing out whoever it was on the phone giving her a hard time.

"Yeeeeah usually its uh... Loona's very nice personality causing the uh steady flow of traffick..." Millie said again.

"Hmmm... That doesn't seem to be the case this time it sounds like..." You said after hearing the little bit of the phone call you heard.

"That's Ironic." Moxxie said.

Eventually you noticed that the phone call didn't seem to be going anywhere as it had become nothing but the female hellhound nearly screaming at the client oh the phone and vice versa.
