You ran as fast as you could the sounds of roaring behind you as you held the bundle in your arm close while holding your sword in your other hand.
"This dream again..." You thought watching it unfold.
Screaming and battle cries could be heard as many knights ran in the opposite direction you did all seemingly in an attempt to stall whatever it was that was chasing you down the corridors.
"We have come to aid Kaguya!!! We'll hold him off!!" One of them said.
"Protect the princess!!! another Yelled out." You turned cutting a rope along one of the corners as a large metal caged door fell behind you as you watched them go.
Some of those knights had been your partners during training.....
As you watched them go a hand was placed on your shoulder as you flinched slightly not expecting it.
You then calmed down however as it was just another hellhound... One of the palace maids it looked like.
"This way Quickly!!" She beckoned as you followed without hesitation.
You had never been this deep inside the palace before. So the area itself was completely new to you. All you knew was your orders and that was to get the princess to her room... Amelia's Last wish...
"We have prepared a summoning circle for her to get her to safety!!!" You heard the maid say.
Before long after following her in several direction you eventually came before a regal and very familiar door.
"Its that room from those ruins!!" You thought as several more of the maids opened the door beckoning you inside.
Roaring was heard back the way you came again signalling that whatever was chasing you was getting close and finding its way there.
"Hurry!!" One of them said as you ran inside as they closed the door.
Inside was the very same room you saw from the ruins in the real world except much more well kept and tidy and in its center was a crib with a magic circle drawn underneath it.
"Are you sure this is safe for her..." You said worried as you held the bundle close.
"Do not worry.... Upon success she will be whisked away to someone that will keep her safe...." One of the maids said.
"You have someone on the other side?" You said amazed.
"Yes and we managed to get word to them of what is going on!! She works at an orphanage!!" The maid said as the room rumbled slightly.
"I see..." you said as you looked down at the bundle in your arms as the room rattled again.
Small gurgling and giggling could be heard beneath as one of your hands reached and slowly bought the bundle outward away from you as you gently placed the child into the maids caring arms.
"Place her there!! Hurry!!" One of the other maids said.
As you watched them place the child into the crib all you could see was a snout peeking slightly out of the blankets around her as she was gently placed down.
Roaring could be heard from outside the room as you turned and looked at the door.
"How long will this take...?" You quickly asked one of them.
"Atleast 3 minutes!!" One of them said as the others began chanting forming a circle around the crib.
Unsheathing your sword again you turned to the door.
