CHAPTER-35: jealous bestfriend

I can recognise that voice even in my sleep. His walk was majestic and his demeanor screamed danger. He walks like he owns that place. He wrapped his arms around me and placed a lingering kiss on my forehead before facing Ruhi, who looked like she have just seen a ghost.

What's wrong with this girl? Why is she behaving like this?

' all good Ruhi? You were about to tell me something......' she looked at Hukum sa for a brief second before she passed me a smile

' there was nothing serious Aaru. It's just I'm feeling under the weather.... ' she said focusing on her plate.

I noticed Hukum sa lost in his thoughts and when he felt my gaze on him he passed me a sweet smile.....I love this man so much.

' did you eat something yet my love and how is my little love doing? ' he said sneaking his right hand inside my scrubs to palm my small bump. It wasn't noticable yet but one could easily feel it.  Currently I'm 2 and half months along. I placed my hand over his and smiled feeling his warmth and affection towards our unborn baby.

' I've just finished fruits that maa sa has packed for me and yes, your baby is doing well. Aapka bacha Hume bilkul bhi pareshan nhi karta siwaye jab usse bhook lagti hai tab....Jo usse har 1 ghante mein lagti hai.' I said last part with a little blush.
( Your baby doesn't bother me much until he/she is hungry which he/she is in every 1 hour)

He chuckled and pecked my lips on mine- ' I'll be busy with back to back meetings but don't hesitate if you feel any kind of discomfort and jaan please apna khayal rakhna aur baby ko bhooka nhi rakhna zada der tak.' his chest vibrated as he laughed a little.
( Jaan please take care of yourself and don't let my baby remain hungry for too long)

He glanced at Ruhi one last time before moving out of hospital building. As soon as Hukum sa stepped out, we saw a very tired looking Veer coming towards us. It seems as if he has been performing surgery for few hours. He pulled Ruhi into a bear hug and bury his face in crook of her neck.

' you looked tired' Ruhi said my thoughts out loud.
' hmmm....I've just stepped out of OT. It was a complicated case. I have to complete few rounds then we'll head home, ok baby.' he said looked at Ruhi and moved out passing me a warm smile.

Home? Am I missing something

' Home? You guys are in a live-in-relationship. And why are you looking so vulnerable? What's the matter Ruhi, please share it with me..... please'

' what do you want to know and why are you so bothered? Fine! I lost my virginity. That's what you wanted me to tell you, huh. Aren't you happy living a life which every girl dreams of. Being a Hukum Rani sa, with that serene beauty and not to forget Greek God like husband.........why it's always you woh gets everything, why!!!!' she yelled and walked out in anger.

I was on the verge of tears by the end. I didn't even guessed that she felt like that but I never made her feel inferior or tried to impose my position infront of anyone. Then what happened, what changed?

I turned around and saw Aarman Bhai sa standing infront of me seething in anger. I walked to him and wrapped my arms around his torso. He secured his strong arms around me and kissed my head....and my dam broke.

' what bhaisa ? What changed.....I've...I've never treated her like she is inferior to me. She is my bestfriend then...then why?'

' shhh....shant ho jao Mera bacha. Everything will be fine Chotu. Your bhaisa will make everything alright, ok......you trust your bhaisa, hai na' I just nodded my head.
( Shhh....calm down my little over.)

AARMAN POV

How dare she said such mean things to my chotu. I will f*cking kill her. Do hell with this friendship and the punishment that she will get for her act would be to much for her to bear.

You just wait Ruhi.....you will cry the same way my sister did because of you....you will get worst than that.

I don't know why is behaving like that so suddenly but I will make sure that she stays away from my sister from now on and I will keep an eye on that b*tch as well.

I thought she wanted to be my sister's friend for genuine reasons but I was so wrong. Even everytime we had our banter I thought even we were go friends.

Amogh had his doubts and now I know why he asked me to visit my sister so suddenly.

' Chotu, listen to me. Your routine is complete right then let your bhaisa take you for a treat. What does my little niece or nephew wanna eat?'

She wiped her tears with a cute pout and kept mum. Maybe she doesn't wanna go right now.

' if you don't want to go now we can go some other time. Don't stress yourself chotu.' I said creasing her head but she glared at me

' what some other time.....I was just thinking what I want to eat. Take me to that biryani place that you took me few months back. Bade aaye baad mein chal lenge wale, abhi Jana hai!!!!'  she started moving out.
( Let's go someother time, big talks, I wanna go now)

Oh she was thinking...I thought she was not hungry

' arey ab chalo bhi.....my baby is hungry. I am craving for something spicy.' she said with fire in her eyes. God! How does Amogh out up with her. She is getting moody date by date.
( Start moving.....my baby is hungry)

' come one let's go Chotu. Your Bhaisa will get you everything you want.'

Both brother and sister were so into their banter that they didn't even noticed someone's evil eyes on them.
