The following week, Grace and Yeonjun settled back into their routine of study sessions and project discussions. Their time at the aquarium had left them both feeling closer and more comfortable around each other. The accidental touch at the touch tank had sparked a new layer of awareness between them, though neither mentioned it aloud.

One evening, as they were working in the library, the campus lights flickered, signaling the approach of winter exams. The stress was palpable among the students, but Grace and Yeonjun found solace in their study sessions, their camaraderie a welcome respite from the pressures of college life.

Grace was poring over her notes when she felt a slight nudge on her arm. She looked up to find Yeonjun grinning at her, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

"Hey, you look like you need a break," he said, tilting his head towards the window. "How about a walk?"

Grace hesitated for a moment, then nodded. "A walk sounds nice."

They gathered their things and made their way out of the library. The evening air was crisp and cool, and the campus was bathed in the soft glow of streetlights. They strolled along the tree-lined paths, their conversation light and easy.

"So, how are you handling the exam stress?" Yeonjun asked, his hands tucked into his pockets.

Grace sighed, her breath visible in the cold air. "It's a lot, but I think I'm managing. How about you?"

Yeonjun shrugged, a playful smile on his lips. "I'm doing okay. It's easier knowing I have a great project partner."

Grace blushed, the compliment warming her despite the chilly weather. "Thanks, Yeonjun. I feel the same way."

As they walked, they came across a bench near the campus pond. Yeonjun motioned for them to sit, and they settled down, their shoulders brushing slightly. The contact sent a shiver through Grace, and she hoped Yeonjun didn't notice.

They sat in comfortable silence for a few moments, watching the moonlight dance on the water's surface. Grace felt a sense of peace wash over her, grateful for the quiet moment in the midst of their hectic schedules.

Yeonjun turned to her, his expression thoughtful. "You know, Grace, I'm really glad we got paired up for this project. It's been... nice getting to know you."

Grace smiled, her heart fluttering at his words. "I'm glad too, Yeonjun. You've made this semester a lot more bearable."

He chuckled softly, then reached out to gently tuck a strand of hair behind her ear. The gesture was simple, but it sent a thrill through Grace, her cheeks flushing.

"You're really dedicated, Grace. It's inspiring," Yeonjun said, his voice sincere.

Grace looked down, feeling shy under his gaze. "Thank you, Yeonjun. You are too."

They continued to talk, their conversation meandering from their studies to their dreams and aspirations. Grace found herself opening up to Yeonjun in ways she hadn't with anyone else, her initial shyness giving way to a deeper sense of trust.

As the night grew colder, they decided to head back to the dorms. They walked side by side, their hands occasionally brushing against each other. Each touch sent sparks through Grace, and she couldn't help but wonder if Yeonjun felt the same.

When they reached Grace's dorm, she turned to him, a soft smile on her lips. "Thanks for the walk, Yeonjun. I really needed that."

Yeonjun smiled back, his eyes warm. "Anytime, Grace. Get some rest, okay?"

She nodded, feeling a sense of contentment as she watched him walk away. That night, as she lay in bed, Grace thought about their walk and the subtle moments of skinship they had shared. Her heart felt lighter, and she couldn't help but feel hopeful about what the future might hold.

Yeonjun, on his way back to his own dorm, replayed the evening in his mind. The small touches and the intimate conversation had deepened his feelings for Grace. He knew he had to be patient, but he couldn't deny the growing connection between them.

The following day, Grace and Yeonjun decided to meet at the campus café for a change of scenery. They sat at a corner table, books and notes spread out before them. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

As they worked, their knees brushed under the table, sending an involuntary thrill through Grace. She glanced at Yeonjun, who seemed unfazed, his focus on his notes. Grace took a deep breath, trying to steady her racing heart.

During a particularly difficult passage in their project, Grace leaned in to get a better look at Yeonjun's notes. In doing so, her shoulder brushed against his arm. She froze for a moment, feeling the warmth of his skin through the fabric of his shirt.

Yeonjun looked up, his eyes meeting hers. For a brief moment, the world around them faded, and it was just the two of them in their own little bubble. Then he smiled, and the moment passed, but the memory lingered.

"Thanks for explaining that," Grace said softly, trying to focus on the task at hand.

"Anytime," Yeonjun replied, his voice equally soft.

As they continued to work, the subtle touches became more frequent—a brush of hands as they reached for the same book, their knees bumping under the table, shoulders touching as they leaned in to share ideas. Each contact was a reminder of the growing bond between them.

Later that evening, they decided to take another walk to clear their minds. The campus was quiet, the only sounds being the crunch of leaves underfoot and the distant hum of traffic. They walked side by side, their hands occasionally brushing against each other.

As they approached the pond, Yeonjun suddenly stopped and turned to Grace. "Do you want to sit for a bit?"

Grace nodded, and they found a bench overlooking the water. The moon cast a silvery glow over the surface, creating a serene and picturesque scene.

Yeonjun took a deep breath, his eyes fixed on the water. "You know, Grace, I've been thinking a lot lately. About us."

Grace's heart skipped a beat. "What do you mean?"

He turned to her, his expression serious. "I mean, I'm really glad we've become friends. You're... important to me."

Grace felt a warm flush spread through her at his words. "You're important to me too, Yeonjun."

They sat in silence for a moment, the weight of unspoken words hanging between them. Then, almost instinctively, Yeonjun reached out and took her hand, his fingers intertwining with hers. Grace's breath caught at the contact, but she didn't pull away. Instead, she squeezed his hand gently, a silent affirmation of their growing connection.

As they sat there, hand in hand, Grace felt a sense of calm wash over her. She knew there was still a lot to figure out, but for now, she was content to simply be in the moment with Yeonjun.
