Author's pov:-

Tired and worn out from all the crying last night, she got out of the bed as the alarm went off. After entering the restroom, Aria noticed her red, swollen eyes, eye bags, and chapped lips when she peered in the mirror.

Considering her state, all she could do was smile. With a heavy breath, she headed to the shower.

After applying makeup to her lifeless face to hide the fact that she had sobbed the previous night. She greeted her parents as she entered the dining room and took a seat to eat breakfast.

She is usually a happy and talkative girl, even in the morning, but today was different, and her parents could tell that something had happened.

"Goodbye, mom and dad," she said and left the house without waiting for a response. She then began to walk till reached the bus station. She wasn't even aware that the bus had arrived because she was so engrossed in her thoughts.

The driver yelled at her, "Get inside, girl," waking her up from her daze. "Oh Aria, here!!" Tanu said, waving her hand in Aria's direction as she and Niko stood outside their classroom.

Aria sprinted over to them, and three of them entered the classroom. Luna wasn't there because she was out with her boyfriend. "I want to share something with you two," Aria said, grabbing their attention.

"What is it?" Tanu was quick to pull Aria into her embrace as she began to cry, and Niko, feeling bad for Aria, gave her some soft pat while whispering encouraging words to calm down.

"We broke up," she whispered as their eyes widened. Aria's breath became uneven as the memories passed through her mind. Although Niko anticipated that Aria would be devastated, she didn't anticipate it happening so quickly.

"But what was the reason?" Niko stated, as Aria wasn't breathing correctly, Niko pulled a water bottle out of her backpack and forced her to sip some. Tanu wiped her tears and scoffed once Aria recounted to them everything that had transpired yesterday.

"I don't care about anything, but I want to speak with him face-to-face. I knew something like this would happen, but I wasn't sure enough, and I didn't have a cause for you to stop dating him regardless of whether he's our teacher" Aria immediately shook her head as Tanu let out, giving Niko a scowl. "Aria, he was fucking around with you and nothing else and still you're defending him?"

Niko was furious with Aria for being such a coward; if Aria hadn't stopped them, they would have spoken to Hwan about how dare he hurt Aria. "it's not that, I just don't wanna stretch the matter, everything's over and there's no need to talk to him about all this" "seriously Aria?" Niko said as anger was all over her face.

"It's just i-" As the teacher entered the classroom, Aria's statement was interrupted, "Good morning, class. Let's continue what we were studying yesterday." Tanu and Niko caught Aria's eye and she reassured them that everything is well, but only they truly know it.

Aria's pov:-

Regardless of my best efforts to ignore it, thoughts of it constantly resurface. I do not want to cry for a cheap man like him, so I'm trying really hard not to cry. I wouldn't even consider dating him if he had told me about any of this earlier. It's true that I regret dating him now.

His lecture is the next one and I'm not sure how I'm going to handle facing him. "Where are you lost, baby?" Tanu muttered as I shook my head, mumbling, "nothing". She clasped my hand in hers and mouthed, "It's okay, we're with you." I grinned because I knew they would always be by my side.
