Ken and Amari decided to take a break from their hectic lives and spend a day together at a theme park. The sun was shining brightly, and the scent of cotton candy and popcorn filled the air as they walked through the entrance hand in hand.

The first ride they came across was the Ferris wheel. Amari’s eyes lit up, and she tugged on Ken's arm. “Let’s start with this one!”

Ken chuckled, looking up at the towering wheel. “You sure? It’s a bit tame, don’t you think?”

She playfully swatted his arm. “It’s romantic. Besides, we can see the whole park from up there.”

As they boarded the Ferris wheel, the anticipation built. When their cabin reached the top, Amari gasped at the panoramic view of the park and the city beyond. “Isn’t it beautiful?”

Ken glanced at the view, but his eyes soon settled on Amari. “Yeah, it is,” he replied softly, squeezing her hand.

From the top of the Ferris wheel, the theme park stretched out below them, a vibrant mosaic of colors and activity. The sun, hanging high in a cloudless sky, bathed everything in a warm, golden light. Its rays shimmered off the metallic surfaces of the rides, creating a dazzling array of reflections.

The roller coasters twisted and turned like giant, serpentine structures, their tracks glinting under the sun. The carousels spun gently, their bright, painted horses catching the light and casting playful shadows on the ground. Cotton candy stalls and game booths dotted the pathways, their vivid colors amplified by the sunlight.

Beyond the park, the city skyline stood proudly against the horizon, its buildings reflecting the sun’s brilliance. Trees surrounding the park were lush and green, their leaves rustling softly in the breeze. The contrast between the natural greenery and the park’s man-made splendor was striking from this height.

Amari looked down, her eyes wide with awe. “Ken, look at how everything sparkles. It’s like the park is alive.”

Ken nodded, his gaze sweeping across the scene. “It’s amazing how different everything looks from up here. It’s... peaceful.”

The sound of laughter and excited screams floated up to them, mingling with the distant hum of city life. From this vantage point, they could see families walking hand in hand, children darting excitedly from ride to ride, and couples like themselves taking in the beauty of the day.

“It’s like a painting,” Amari said softly, her hand tightening around Ken’s. “A perfect, sunlit painting.”

Ken smiled, his heart full. “And we’re right in the middle of it.”

As the Ferris wheel slowly descended, they took in every detail, knowing that this moment—bathed in sunlight and shared in perfect harmony—was one they would cherish forever.

Ken stepped down from the Ferris wheel gondola and turned to offer his hand to Amari. "My lady," he said with a playful, yet gallant tone.

Amari smiled warmly, her eyes sparkling with affection as she took his hand and gracefully stepped down to join him. She swiftly wrapped her arm around his bicep. "Shall we move on to the next ride?" she suggested with a bright smile.

After the Ferris wheel, they moved on to more exhilarating rides. The roller coaster was next on their list. Amari was hesitant at first, her eyes wide as she watched the cars zoom by. “Are you sure about this, Ken?”

Her mind swirls back on her mindless moments on social media seeing the many wigs which have been blown away because of rides like this. Or worse fainting. She had natural gold locks of her own hair but fainting, she wasn't sure she was an exception to.

“Come on, it’ll be fun! Just hold on tight,” Ken encouraged, flashing her a reassuring smile.

As the ride took off, Amari screamed in delight and terror, her grip on Ken’s hand tightening with every twist and turn. When they finally came to a stop, both were breathless and laughing.

“See? That wasn’t so bad,” Ken said, grinning ear to ear.

“I suppose I owe you for dragging me on that,” Amari teased, still catching her breath. “What’s next, Mr. Daredevil?”

They spent the next few hours exploring the park, trying out various rides and indulging in classic theme park snacks. At one point, Amari dragged Ken  to a game booths. Her eyes on the giant Ultraman teddy. The perfect gift for Emi.

"Common Ken, it's perfect for our little princess" Amari marveled.
