Chapter 30: Facing dragons

You: JIN, ARE YOU READY?

Jin: COMING!

RM: Today Yoongi, J-Hope, and Taehyung will go with you!

You: Yoongi has elements-controlling power which will help fight Firebolt. Taehyung's shielding power will help us with Spigon, and J-Hope will create weapons on the spot since our powers are not going to work inside the dark lake. Remember, fighting dragons is not an easy job. I was this close to death while bringing that golden lotus.

Tae: (Looking at you with romantic eyes) Aww, you did that for me!

You: (Turning his face away) Stop! We don't have time for romance; we have to prepare for the mission.

Tae: Yes, boss!

Jin: Before persuading them, we will have to control them. Dragons are really furious creatures. They will never listen to us until they are under our control.

You: The Spigons have the ability to throw spikes on their body towards opponents, and they can be as powerful as bullets in the non-magic world. Aquagons live inside the dark lake; they are most powerful when in contact with water. The most dangerous, the Firebolt, has the ability to fly and spits fire.

Jin: Remember those wounds on Y/N's body? Most of them were due to Spigon's spikes.

You: Yep, I remember how furious that fight was! Aquagons were really tough to control, but the sole reason was our powers don't work inside the dark lake. But what if we call them outside the lake?

Suga: And how are we supposed to do this?

You: Just wait and watch!

Tae: Okay then! Let's get to work.

Hobi: Yep, let's go.

You: Let's go!

You all bid your goodbyes to everyone at headquarters and left for the forbidden forest.

In the Forest.

Hobi: (With a bit of fear) Yoongi hyung, it is very dark here.

Suga: I know, right.

Yoongi replied casually and kept walking, which made you giggle.

Hobi: Hyung, you don't understand.

You: Hoseokie, I think you forgot that we are wizards.

You created a small light ball using your magical powers to light up the way.

Hobi: Oh yes! Right! We are wizards. Hehe...

You chuckled at his cuteness and kept moving forward. After a few minutes of walking, you met Vorgath and another giant with him.

You: Oh, hi Vorgath! How are you all doing?

Vorgath: Good. Our warriors have already begun the training for the war.

Jin: That's pretty good. Um, can you lead us to the dark lake, please? We are lost here.

Giant2: It is simple: just go straight and take a left from the 10th tree, and you will reach there.

Jin: Thank you so much.

You continued towards the lake, and both the giants continued their patrolling in another direction. After a while, you finally reached the dark lake. All five of you hid behind a tree to monitor the movement of the three dragons.

Jin: Look! Both Firebolt and Spigon are moving in opposite directions and crossing each other once.

You: That means when they reach the corners, both of them will be almost 500 meters apart. If we attack Spigon at the corner of their path, the Firebolt will take a minimum of 60 seconds to reach since it has the ability to fly. If we attack Firebolt first, the Spigon can instantly throw its spikes at us. .

Suga: Got the plan. We will have to attack them simultaneous  at different ends.

You: Exactly!

Jin: Y/N will go to Spigon to persuade it, and I will go to Firebolt. We will try to persuade them in a peaceful manner, but if they get out of control, Taehyung will go to help Y/N with his shielding power, and Yoongi will come with me to protect us from the fire spits of Firebolt with his element-controlling power.

Tae: Alright!

You: Hoseok will be hiding here in the bushes. In case all of us fail and get into trouble, you will have to create instant chains strong enough to tie them and throw them as quickly as possible.

Hobi: I'm ready.

You: Then let's begin our plan!

All: Yeah!

You all waited in the bushes for them to reach either end of their way, and before they could turn around, you popped in front of Spigon and started speaking in its language.

You: Hello Mister! I just needed a small help! Can you please...

Before you could complete your sentence, the dragon threw a bullet-fast spike at you, but you dodged it by doing a somersault and tried to make contact.

You: Why be so furious! Look, you're such a cute creature. Listen to me once!

He kept throwing spikes at you, and you kept dodging them with cool attitude while attempting to talk to him.

You: You're so stubborn. In this way, we will never be able to talk.

Your attempts were failing, and you saw that Seokjin was also struggling hard with Firebolt, with the help of Yoongi.

You: Look! I'm acting cool, but if you keep attacking me, I will have to take serious action.

The Spigon was not giving you even a few seconds to stay still as it kept throwing bunches of spikes at you. Finally, you lost your temper and attacked him with an air punch, which made him unstable for a second but didn't hurt much.

You: Told you, don't mess with me. I'm here to talk to you peacefully, and you're attacking me like this.

Your action made him even more furious. He attacked you with hundreds of spikes at once, but Taehyung was fast enough to jump out of the bushes and create a strong shield around you to save you.

You: Thanks, Tae!

You saw that Firebolt was almost under control, but you and Taehyung were stuck with hundreds of spikes per second.

Tae: Y/N, they are so strong. I won't be able to handle them for long.

You quickly made a mind link with Hoseok.

You: Hobi! The chains!

Hobi: Sorry! I'm already here helping Jin and Yoongi hyung.

You looked in their direction and found all three of them struggling.

Tae: What next? Tell quick!!!

Before you could think of anything, you saw a little child Spigon running towards the Spigon that was attacking you. Seeing the child, the dragon quickly stopped attacking and started licking the child's face and playing with it cutely. A big "AWW" escaped your mouth as you looked in the direction where the child Spigon came from, and you saw a handsome young man standing there.
