"Officer Minamoto mana and Foreigner artemis, commence Tranceunion"
A female voice was heard in the girls ear piece as she and a taller female was on top of a building looking down as they saw a swarm of yoju's underneath the building roaming around the street, their hair moved slowly due to a small breeze that passed as the short haired girl raised her hand up to her ear piece as she responded to the order given to her
"copy that"
The girl then lowered her hand as she continued to look at the swarm underneath them with an unreadable look, the taller female next to her looked at her with mild confusion visible on her face as she turned her body towards the smaller girl as she held her hand out to her
"shall we?" the taller female known as 'Foreigner Artemis' asked as she watched as the shorter girl known as 'Minamoto Mana' turned to look at her and then looked at the hand artemis held out to her
Raising her hand she softly placed her smaller hands on the females slightly larger hands as she looked at her in the eyes yet again "hm, let's finish this quickly artemis" the girl said as artemis gave her a closed eyed smile
"Of course, ready when you are mana" Artemis said as she released her hold on mana's hand as she walked to the edge of the building, her heels making a soft clank sound as she took her steps. Standing right at the edge of the building artemis hair swayed from the wind as she then turned to look at mana for confirmation as mana then adjusted a relatively long bag behind her as she nodded at artemis
Artemis smiled as she took a step back from the edge of the building making her fall from a great height, while falling down the building the air around artemis slowed down as she used her ability to momentarily stop herself as she watched mana fall from the building where she also jumped from as she opened her arm out as she and mana made contact midair as she pulled her into a back hug.
"Trance!"
A bright light covered the body of the two as the people in the control room looked at the screen in front of them eagerly as the drones around the area showed them what was happening in the battlefield in real time. Multiple gunshots was then heard coming from the bright light as the said light then vanished as a figure then landed on the ground as the dust around the area covered their figure
The dust then cleared, revealing only mana as she now sported a new outfit and was holding a relatively long sniper in her hands as a faint turquoise light emitted from both her outfit and weapon.
her outfit now consist of a dark turquoise sleeveless hoodie with lines emitting a bright cyan glow around it as she wore a black safety short underneath it, her hands were now wearing a dark turquoise fingerless glove as one of her arm and one of her thigh had a blue armband around them, her shoes were now a pair of dark turquoise boots that two straps each on the upper and lower part of her boot as the upper most part of her boot lights up and has a bright cyan colour to it
Standing up from her previous crouched position she held her sniper tightly as her standing figure was seen in the control room surrounded by multiple fallen yoju's
"l-logicalist Minamoto Mana has successfully killed all the yoju's! Only the honju remains!"
Okonogi said as she moved closer to the screen to asses the situation as multiple voices were heard around the control room
"they just tranced yet she already eliminated all the yoju's!"
"So this is the power of a kaiju..."
"watch your mouth! Artemis is referred to as a foreigner not as a kaiju!"
"let us not forget officer mana's own prowess! That kid is a genius herself, it's not a surprise that she can manage artemis' powers"
The officers in the control room chattered as their divisions vice captain faced the screen with his signature smile on his lips, the captain of the said division then walked closer to the purple haired man in front of her as she stood next to hoshina as she also looked at the screen showing the young girl skillfully shooting the honju as she showcased her mastery in her weapon of choice as she hopped from building to building
"you seem quite proud of mana, hoshina"
Mina said as the purple haired man next to her turned to look at the woman as her gaze was still focused on the screen as she continue to watch the girl sit on top of a building as she placed her sniper between her legs as her feet was firmly situated on the ground as the captain saw her press her earpiece
"permission to initiate Logic Drive"
The loud chattering in the control room soon ceased as they all turned to look at mina who stood next the her vice captain as she nodded at okonogi who then turned back to the screen in front of her as she cleared her throat
"Permission granted!"
Mana then lowered her her hand from her ear piece as she placed her hand firmly on the trigger of her sniper
"artemis"
"hai!"
artemis' silhouette appeared behind mana as mana's weapon started to emit a bright turquoise light as the said weapon started to change, the sniper in mana's hand started to disassemble as some pieces of the sniper floated around it as it growed slightly longer than before as the floating pieces then floated back to the weapon attaching itself on as the muzzle emitted a bright light as mana readied herself, looking through the sniper's scope she fixed her position as she aims for the honju's forehead.
"logic drive!"
Mana then pulled the trigger as a bright light was shot at the honju below as the beam passed through the honju.
People in the control room looked at the screen in awe as the light vanished, revealing the honju whose upper body was nowhere to be seen as its lower body dropped slowly onto the ground shaking the whole place.
"The honju has been eliminated!"
Multiple cheers and claps from the officers in the control room was heard as okonogi made the announcement as the captain looked at hoshina who was smiling widely while looking at the screen, feeling a gaze on him he turned to look at the captain who looked at him with a knowing look as he just smiled at her
"Why wouldn't I be proud? After all, I'm the one who trained her"
