"thank you so much for having me here" Freya smiled. "anyway, I'm going to tell you everything I know as of now" Freya said.
Freya then told everyone everything she had found out so far. She revealed that the primary suspect is Steve Harrison, the student who last saw Ron before he was kidnapped. She also explained that Ron and Cyril were kidnapped because they discovered something that might expose the perpetrator, so the kidnappers would try to erase their memories.
"I have a question, Miss Freya" Angel said.
"Yes, Angel?" Freya responded.
"Why couldn't they just kill both Ron and Cyril? Wouldn't that make their job a whole lot easier instead of just kidnapping and erasing their memories?" Angel asked.
"That's something I don't know" Freya admitted.
"Also, how can you be certain they tried to erase their memories?" Angel pressed.
"Ron says he can't remember anything that happened while he was kidnapped. He only remembers everything up until he was taken. That's why he's sure Steve ordered the kidnapping" Freya replied.
"You believe him just because he said that? What if he's lying and trying to frame Steve?" Angel countered.
"Why are you so hard to convince?" Freya exclaimed, frustration creeping into her voice.
"Because we need evidence, not just someone's word!" Angel shot back.
The two spent several minutes arguing, their voices rising as the tension in the room grew. The others watched, unsure how to intervene, until Mrs. Valor finally stepped in.
"Okay, let's pause for a moment" Mrs. Valor said firmly.
Both Freya and Angel fell silent, taking a deep breath to calm down.
"Whether Freya is telling the truth or not, Cyril is still kidnapped, so we need to rescue him as soon as possible" Mitch interjected.
"Hey, how about we go to the place Alter Ego mentioned earlier?" Ziggy suggested.
"Good idea, but the old mansion is so far that we can't just walk there, and we don't have any vehicles" Moz said.
"Don't worry about it, I can drive you there" Mrs. Valor offered, holding up a set of keys.
"Thank you very much, Mrs. Valor" Mitch said gratefully.
"Should I join you guys?" Freya asked.
"No, based on what you said earlier, Ron and Cyril were kidnapped because they knew something that might expose the killer, right?" Mitch responded. "Out of all of us, you have the highest chance of being targeted"
"Wait a minute, I have a plan" Angel said, moving closer to Freya and whispering something in her ear.
Freya nodded. "Got it"
The group then headed to the car, waving goodbye to Freya as they set off to find Cyril.
alright! Time to do my part in this plan, Freya thought as she started walking toward the police department.
--- Ravenwood Town Police Department ---
Freya walked briskly into the police department, she approached the front desk where an officer was busy with paperwork.
"E-Excuse me Officer," Freya said trying to keep her voice steady. "i need to report a kidnapping and request immediate assistance."
"calm down miss, what's your name" The Officer asked.
